Every once once in a while. As one does in construction. You have to put a little team together and then really hunker down to maintain quality of workmanship. I recently met this carpenter, Louis. A man who punches way above his height in every aspect of the job. It's a wonderful feeling when a team works together with the same standard in mind from the get go. It didn't matter if we had to work through multiple weekends in a row, never once did I have to nudge him in a direction for quality, barely any follow up discussions at all. Even while we were planning and assembling cabinetry and finishes. Some of the most crucial days of the job we didn't even have anything to discuss but just chat about schedule during the work day. What an absolute pleasure. I can't wait to see more completed installations with him behind the tools.
