About us
At 9ijakids, we jump out of bed each morning because we want our children to be proudly Nigerian, successful entrepreneurs, lovers of God and to take the world by storm. While others are busy training children to be employees, we are inspiring children to be successful in business, great citizens and hot for Christ. How are we doing this you may ask? We are using games as a tool to help children develop an entrepreneurial mindset, teach them the values that make them upright Christians and make the world a better place.

We are so thankful for all the strides we made in 2023 and we are looking forward to doing much more in 2024 #funlearning #9ijakids #steameducation #proudlynigerian #collaborations #collaborationforchange
First Post of the Year & a Hearty Thank You! 🌟 Before diving into the whirlwind that is 2024, let me pause and express my gratitude for all the birthday wishes. Did you know that gratitude is like a high-five to your mood? It’s true! So, here’s a 2023 ‘gratitude high-five’ as I reflect on the top 5 things am grateful for 2023: A Year of Collaboration, Innovation, and a Dash of Challenges (well maybe more than a dash) 1. Global Financial Literacy Campaign: Thanks to Access Bank Plc, we took our 3rd annual financial literacy campaign international, reaching over 40k kids across Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Kenya, and more. Shoutout to Juliet Vincent-Obi, CEED, ImPowerX Advisory Services for making 'collaboration' the coolest word of the year! 2. STEM Revolution Unleashed: We dreamt it, and we did it! With major support from Access Bank Plc, we expanded our STEM program beyond Nigeria to Ghana, Zambia, and Rwanda. And guess what, Abuja? You're next on our STEM radar – we're coming with our A Game this summer (yippee!!) Stem Mets Edufun Technik STEM HubSabiTeach Kucheza Gamr (Techstars '23) STEMCafe Larn Innovation Hub Child In Tech 3. Empowering the Youth with Design Thinking Skills: Over 500 public school kids across 10 secondary schools in Lagos became mini-design thinkers, thanks to Dr. Adetola Salau, Lagos State Education District III, and our generous sponsors. The STEAM Competition was more than a contest; it was a think-fest where young minds came up with solutions for their communities. And yes, the cash prizes did make the eyes sparkle! 4. Mastercard Foundation EdTech Fellowship: Being part of the 12 Nigerian startups for the Mastercard Foundation EdTech Fellowship was like finding an extra scoop of ice cream in your cone – simply awesome! This journey has turbocharged every aspect of 9ijakids. Thank you, Mastercard Foundation, and Co-creation Hub (CcHUB) 5. Some 2023 Awards: A heartfelt thanks to Leading Ladies Africa and Pan African Women Empowerment Network (PAWEN) for acknowledging me among the 100 Most Inspiring Women and for the Tech Entrepreneur of the Year 2023. I never take any award for granted – usually feel humbled by them! As we march into 2024, I am pumped – ready to dream bigger, achieve more and impact more. If you are passionate about equipping and empowering the African youth let’s connect and make magic happen. Here's to a year of more collaborations, achievements, and, of course making a difference one youth at a time!!! #GratitudePost #CollaborateForChange #STEMRevolution #STEMAfricaFest #financialliteracyforkids #9ijakids"
