Exploring Africa’s energy potential, with a key spotlight on financing energy projects, the Africa Energy Investment Outlook 2024 gathered industry leaders in London, to shape the future of energy in Africa. Here’s a look at the ideas and strategies shared at the event; “It’s been a very interesting conversation on the panel session we had today, we looked at what are the critical enablers to drive financing for the most in depth project that we need to have in Africa because all our core source receive massive resources and capacity but unfortunately we’ve not been able to translate that to economic growth. So today we’ve talked on a number of challenges and we’ve also looked at professional solutions to bridging the energy deficit that we have in Africa”- Olakunle Williams, CEO, Tetracore Energy Group. “Africa is going to be a growing market for gas demand for the next 50 years and gas is a very important part of the energy transition. So we explored a lot of the key challenges and opportunities today and we look forward to continued development of Africa’s gas assets”- Grayson M. Andersen, VP, Capital Markets Reconnaissance Energy Africa Ltd.. “We discussed the investments and funding of renewable energy across the continent of Africa including Nigeria. It’s been a really great event, lots of topical issues, lots of insights by industry leaders and it’s been a great time here. Thank you.”- Oghogho Makinde, Partner, ALN Nigeria | Aluko & Oyebode. With collaboration and shared insights, we’re moving closer to a more sustainable energy future for Africa. Thank you to all our speakers, partners, and attendees that made the event a success. Looking forward to hosting you next year!
