  • Healthcare shouldn’t bankrupt lives. Yet, millions face this harsh reality every year. Did you know that 1 in 3 households in Africa and Southeast Asia are forced to borrow money or sell assets just to afford healthcare? Or that 100 million people are pushed into poverty annually because of medical bills? Even more alarming, half the world’s population still lacks access to essential health services —a stark reminder of the inequalities in our healthcare systems. This Universal Health Coverage Day, let’s stand together and advocate for affordable, accessible healthcare for all, regardless of social or economic background. Because health isn’t a privilege—it’s a right.

  • Let’s talk about why knowing your health history is important. Most people would agree that it’s easier to prevent a problem than to fix one. That’s exactly what knowing your health history can do—it helps you stay ahead. When you know the medical conditions that run in your family, or you’re aware of your past health issues, you can make better decisions. It means you’re less likely to be caught off guard by health problems like diabetes, high blood pressure, or heart disease. Think of your health history as a guide—it helps doctors understand you better and gives you a chance to take action early. Ask your family questions, keep track of past illnesses, and don’t forget regular check-ups. Your health is in your hands. Share this to remind others to learn their health history too!

  • In many communities, the struggle to access consistent healthcare means that health is often treated as a short-term goal—something to fix when it breaks, rather than a daily way of living. At Amal Outreach, we believe health should be a lifestyle, not a last resort. That’s why we focus on awareness, education, and accessibility, helping individuals make informed decisions about their well-being. This message, held by one of our beneficiaries, is a call to action for all of us to prioritize our health, every single day. Together, we can create communities where living healthy is the norm, not the exception. Share this post to spread the message and inspire others to embrace healthy living.

  • November marked the final chapter of our 2024 monthly medical outreach. This year, we've worked tirelessly to bring healthcare to underserved communities, bridging the gap for those struggling to access basic care. Our final outreach served over 60 individuals, providing: - Blood pressure checks - Sugar level tests - Screenings for Hepatitis B & C, HIV, - Dental and Vision checks. We're proud of the impact we've made this year and grateful to our volunteers, partners, and supporters who made it possible. This marks the beginning of many healthier lives. Thank you for being part of our journey!🤗

  • Celebrating men is about more than recognition; it’s about appreciating their resilience, encouraging vulnerability, and supporting their physical and mental health. It’s time to acknowledge the pressures men face and work together to create an environment where they feel supported and valued. This International Men’s Day, let’s take a moment to celebrate the men in our lives. Start a conversation, show appreciation, and share this message to raise awareness of the challenges men face and the importance of addressing them. . . . . . . #InternationalMensDay #MensHealth #AmalOutreach
