About us

Azari Women in Tech, Formally TFDm Omobolanle Banwo launched The Female Designer Movement in January, 2018, to train women on graphic design. Her mission is simple: to expand opportunity for as many women as possible by training and empowering them with design skillset, and thereby increasing the amount of women in Tech. The trainings are 100% free. In 2018, TFDm held 4 training sessions – in Lagos, Ibadan, and Monrovia, Liberia, training no fewer than 800 ladies in total. Omobolanle had also helped to match some of the girls with internship gigs in companies to help them continue on the path with real work experience.
