When Benedicta set out to fundraise for the Games Village IDP camp, transparency was her top priority — she wanted to ensure donations went directly to the cause. Last week, we had the opportunity to support the Lagos chapter of AIESEC Nigeria with a blood drive! I had an incredible time volunteering as a coach for the Black Girls in Tech hackathon at Atlantic Hall High School last week! It was such a rewarding experience helping the students work through problem-solving scenarios and watching their excitement as they came up with creative solutions. I also had the chance to talk to them about my work at Crowdr | Crowdfund in Nigeria where we leverage tech to create impact through fundraising and volunteering. We discussed different career paths in tech, and it was great to see how many possibilities resonated with them—from software development to project management and beyond.
