DDEE FARMS is a major supply chain for products between farmers and companies that need their products.

About us

Ddee Farms is an arm of Ddee Foods and Support Services Limited which began operations after discovering a need in the Agricultural space. Welcome to today's episode of #60secswithglobalfarmer! Understanding the dynamics of the vegetable market is crucial for farmers, aggregators, and consumers. Did you know that vegetable prices fluctuate throughout the year? Some months, prices soar due to high demand or limited supply. Other months, prices drop, making it a buyer's market. But that's not all - location plays a significant role in vegetable pricing. Planting the same crop at the same time as farmers in other regions can lead to oversupply and decreased prices. As a farmer or aggregator, it's essential to stay informed about market trends, seasonal fluctuations, and regional differences to maximize profits. Stay tuned for more insights into the vegetable market, and don't forget to share your thoughts and questions! #60secswithglobalfarmer #vegetablemarket #farmingtips #agriculture"

Last Friday on #60secswithGlobalFarmer, a farmer asked a thought-provoking question: "Why do middlemen cause so much pain for farmers in Nigeria and consumers through exorbitant prices?" My response? While it's true some middlemen exploit farmers and consumers, we shouldn't generalize that all middlemen are dishonest. Just as we have unscrupulous doctors, it doesn't mean the entire medical profession is corrupt. In fact, a good middleman can be a game-changer for farmers! They can help sell your perishable produce in large quantities at the shortest possible time, ensuring you get paid faster. At DDEE FARMS , we work with trusted middlemen who prioritize fairness and transparency. If you're looking for a reliable middleman, reach out to us! Let's promote fairness and transparency in Nigeria's agricultural market! #60secswithGlobalFarmer #Agriculture #FairnessInTrade #TrustedMiddlemen #DDEEFarms #FarmingSolutions

  • New Planting Year, New Opportunities! (Part 2) In my previous post, I shared the story of John, a vegetable farmer who had struggled to find a reliable market for his produce. With our team's support, John was able to connect with buyers and secure a better price for his vegetables. But John's story doesn't end there. As he prepared for the new planting year, he realized that he needed to make informed decisions about what to plant and in what quantities. That's when we offered John our Vegetable Market Analysis. Our team of experts analyzed market trends of different vegetables, providing John with valuable insights and projections for the upcoming year. With our analysis, John was able to: Identify the most profitable vegetables to plant Determine the optimal quantity to plant based on market demand Make informed decisions about crop rotation and planning Armed with this knowledge, John is now confident that he can maximize his yields and profits. He's no longer guessing what to plant or hoping for the best. At DDEE FARMS, we're committed to supporting farmers like John. Our team is dedicated to providing farmers with the data-driven insights they need to succeed. • New Planting Year, New Opportunities! As we welcome the new planting year, I'm reminded of my conversation with John, a vegetable farmer I met last season. John had invested heavily in his farm, planting a variety of vegetables that he was sure would fetch a good price in the market. However, things didn't quite go as planned. Despite his best efforts, John struggled to find a reliable market for his produce. He was forced to sell his vegetables at throwaway prices, barely breaking even. As we sat under the shade of a tree, discussing his challenges, John mentioned that he had made the same mistakes year in, year out. He would plant without a clear market in mind, and then struggle to find buyers. I shared with John the importance of having a clear market strategy before planting. I introduced him to our team, and we helped him connect with reliable buyers. Fast forward to today, John is preparing for the new planting year, but this time, he's better prepared. He has a clear understanding of the market demand, and has already secured buyers for his produce. As vegetable farmers, let's make a conscious effort to avoid repeating the same mistakes. Let's take the time to understand the market, connect with reliable buyers, and plan our planting accordingly. At DDEE FARMS, we're committed to supporting vegetable farmers like John. Our team is dedicated to helping you connect with buyers, and get the best price for your produce. Let's make this planting year a success! #NewPlantingYear #VegetableFarmers #MarketStrategy #Sustainability #Agriculture #FarmToTable"

  • Happy New Year, everyone! As we step into a new year, a new season, and a new planting year, I want to take a moment to reflect on the importance of connections and partnerships in our industries. In the agriculture sector, the role of an aggregator (or middleman) is often misunderstood. However, their importance cannot be overstated. Aggregators play a crucial role in linking farmers to markets, facilitating the exchange of goods and services, and providing valuable support and resources to stakeholders along the value chain. By bridging the gap between producers and consumers, aggregators help to: Increase market access for smallholder farmers Improve the efficiency of supply chains Enhance the quality and safety of products Support sustainable agricultural practices As we embark on this new planting year, let's recognize the vital contributions of aggregators and other middlemen in our industries. Let's work together to build stronger, more resilient value chains that benefit everyone involved! Are you a farmer looking for a reliable market for your vegetable produce? We can help! Our team specializes in aggregating vegetable produce and connecting farmers with buyers. Contact us to learn more about our services and how we can support your business. #NewYear #NewSeason #Agriculture #Aggregators #Middlemen #ValueChain #Sustainability #Partnerships #60secswithGlobalfarmer #VegetableProduce #FarmToTable"
