VACANCY: TECHNICAL SALES ENGINEER Debyl Limited is a Port Harcourt based ISO 9001:2015 QMS certified technical maintenance and procurement services company in the Nigeria Oil and Gas sector. We are seeking a TECHNICAL SALES ENGINEER for Compressor and turbines - sale of equipment, spare parts, repairs, refurbishment and after sales follow-up and services. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the after-sales service and maintenance needs of equipment and machinery manufactured and/or sold by Nuovo Pignone International, SRL and Thermodyn S.A.S. This role focuses on reciprocating, centrifugal, and axial compressors, gas and steam turbines, and turboexpanders. Key Responsibilities: o Source, order, and manage inventory of spare parts for reciprocating, centrifugal, and axial compressors, gas and steam turbines, and turboexpanders. o Ensure accurate documentation and tracking of spare parts inventory. o Oversee the repair and refurbishment of equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and OEM specifications. o Coordinate with engineering teams to diagnose issues and implement effective repair strategies. o Manage relationships with external repair facilities and ensure quality control. o Plan and execute capacity management and upgrade projects for compressors, turbines, and turboexpanders. o Collaborate with clients to assess their needs and recommend appropriate upgrades. o Develop and deliver remote training programs for clients on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment. o Customize training content based on specific client needs and equipment configurations. o Provide technical support and guidance to clients during and after training sessions. o Provide technical assistance and advice to clients to enhance the reliability and performance of their equipment. o Respond promptly to client inquiries and ensure customer satisfaction. o Maintain comprehensive records of all service activities, including spare parts usage, repair logs, and training sessions. o Prepare and submit regular reports to management on service performance, customer feedback, and areas for improvement. Qualifications: · Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. · Minimum of 3 years of experience in the sale, maintenance and servicing of industrial machinery, particularly compressors, turbines, and turboexpanders. · Strong knowledge of spare parts management, repair processes, and refurbishment techniques. · Experience in capacity management and upgrades (CM&Us) of industrial equipment. · Proficiency in delivering remote technical training and support. · Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. · Familiarity with Nuovo Pignone International, SRL and Thermodyn S.A.S equipment is a plus. Catalyst Withdrawal Valves With the TapcoEnpro catalyst withdrawal valves you won't have to change out valves between turnarounds. The costs associated with replacing conventional catalyst withdrawal valves worn and distorted by hot catalyst surging through a catalyst withdrawal system have been plaguing refineries for years. Conventional valves have had limited resistance to erosion conditions that occur when catalyst goes from ambient temperatures to 1300 degrees. To deal with the problem, refineries have been stacking and replacing valves frequently, even before scheduled turnarounds, in a make-shift effort to withstand the distortion and erosion caused by extreme variations in catalyst temperature and thermal shock. TapcoEnpro hardfacing resists temperature extremes- Our catalyst withdrawal valve series includes a primary shutoff valve, a control valve and a final shutoff valve, each hard-faced that exhibits superior resistance to extreme variations in temperature. As a result, the distortion problem, common with conventional valves that must withstand lower temperatures on one side of the valve and higher temperatures on the other, is minimized with our catalyst withdrawal valves. The control valve, mounted in-line down- stream, throttles the catalyst until the desired amount has been withdrawn. The stem knuckle and the nose of the disc are tapered to lift and torque seat the disc against the seat plate in the closed position. In this position, the control valve can also act as a shutoff feature to further enhance flow control. Because the throttle valve is more prone to wear than any other valve in the catalyst withdrawal system. The TapcoEnpro catalyst withdrawal valves are offered with four operating actuator systems: manual, pneumatic, hydraulic, electric, or a combination. The preferred method of actuator for the shut-off valve is the pneumatic or hydraulic system which ensures complete on/off services with the push of a button.
