How I edit blogs for SEO once the writing is done (17 simple steps): 1. Improve the title & description. Search on Google to see what's winning. 2. Simplify the URL (if needed) 3. Make the 1st sentence really HOOK. 4. Personalize the Intro & Outro. 5. Add Table of Contents at the top. 6. Make sure all links work properly. 7. Break up chunky paragraphs. 8. Remove unneeded words & phrases. 9. Add images w/ alt text to break it up. 10. Make sure it has a relevant category. 11. Add a compelling featured image. 12. Ensure it matches the search intent. 13. Check Yoast for any final suggestions. 14. View in mobile & make any changes. 15. Make sure FAQ section at the bottom. 16. Review keyword count & keyword clusters. 17. Link back to Hub page (if applicable). --- Writing is only half the battle. Optimizing for SEO is the heavy lift. But you can simplify it w/ an SEO checklist. Don't slack on optimizing, but don't make it hard. Steal my process & make it your own. Optimize your blogs & rank. Generate traffic.
