How to write a professional portfolio that makes your skill sell. Building a professional portfolio from scratch may seem intimidating, but it is an essential step in establishing your professional brand and highlighting your skills and accomplishments. To create a powerful portfolio, consider the following simple tips: 📌 Define Your Brand: Start by identifying the key skills and experience that make you unique, and use these to shape your professional brand. 📌 Select Your Best Work: Choose projects and samples of your previous work,if you have no experience you could showcase your best practical work . Also select your problem solving skills, this will enable the employee to understand how capable and fit you are for the job. 📌 Make do with a user friendly Design: Use consistent fonts, colors, and layouts to create a visually appealing and cohesive portfolio. This will make your work easier to navigate and more memorable for potential clients or employers. 📌 Highlight Your Awards and Accolades: If you have won awards or earned accolades for your work, highlight these achievements in your portfolio. Girls Into Tech We nurture great minds. Thank you Deborah Imowo, we accept the flowers you give🌹
Social Media Virtual Assistant || Administrative Officer || Founder and Brand Manager, Debbie's Glam || Biochemist
Thursday 05-12-2024 I just signed a three-months contract as an Admin/Social Media Virtual Assistant at $35/hour (🙂 in my head right now but soon to be a reality) For the remaining days of 2024, I'll be celebrating the little steps I successfully made closer to success💃 Been waiting to post 'the' job offer but then I thought, 🤔 why not share it all...right from start I should be flogged for sharing this milestone after a long five months but who will?? No one – that's adulthood. You are responsible for all of your actions and it's consequences 🤷 In July this year, I got this Certificate of Participation from Girls Into Tech for the Social Media Marketing track. It was an awesome experience being tutored by the phenomenal Ruth Oye and sharing project group with other participants of the Girls Into Tech program. Let me also take the time to celebrate the other amazing tutors : Tobi Akinrinmade, Anya Justina, and David Orok. You all inspire me and make learning so interesting. Here are your flowers 💐💐💐💐 So here's Deborah Imowo out to see what the field of Social Media Marketing hold really. Here's 🥂to an amazing journey moving forward 🤗 #girlsintotech #socialmediava #virtualassistant

Ido Udomah Take your flower🌹
Social Media Virtual Assistant || Administrative Officer || Founder and Brand Manager, Debbie's Glam || Biochemist
Friday 06-12-2024 I am still celebrating my successes of 2024 (not a certification today though but a real human) Ido Udomah Met this lady when I got on the Girls Into Tech program during which she was our Community Manager - she still is ( and she's not retiring soon I'm certain🙂) In the quest to stack and refine my skills (as I've learned to call it after reading from one of Bruno Nwogu's posts), I belong to some learning groups across different learning platforms. Reviewing my experiences across these platforms, one stands out - my experience in the Girls Into Tech WhatsApp community managed by Ido Udomah. And here's why: 💐 None of the questions I had to ask or issues I needed clarifications on ever went unanswered or unattended 💐 The tone of her responses was always collected and polite 💐 You're sure to get group updates on time and in the most detailed format that aids the learning experience. Dear Ido, I celebrate you today and the work you do at Girls Into Tech and for making learning easy for us. You rock!!! 💪 👏 🤗

I am starting to fall in love with excel again, when I say excel is underrated, trust me it is. I am recently working on an assignment project from Girls Into Tech, The dataset was provided. I cleaned and prepared the (U.S Adidas) dataset, before proceeding with further analysis on Microsoft Excel. A brief overview of the dataset’s columns · Retailers · Retailers ID · Invoice Date · Region · State · City · Product · Price Per Unit · Units Sold · Revenue · Sales Method The data cleaning steps involved in this project: · The PROPER function is used to standardize retailer names. · The short date feature is used to standardize date format. · Duplicates were eliminated. · The text “NY” in the City column was updated to "New York" for consistency. · The excess spaces in the Product column were trimmed. · The dollar signs were removed from the Revenue column. Is data cleaning an essential step before any analysis? YES, data cleaning is a crucial step in data analysis, enhancing efficiency, decision-making, and quality results through a systematic approach, whether using manual or advanced tools. Once the project is completed, I will provide a comprehensive analysis and interactive dashboard visualization for the cleaned dataset, revealing insights and trends. #dataanalysis #Businessanalyst #Girlsintotech #Opentowork #Internships
