Every child deserves the freedom to dream...
Breaking Chains, Building Futures Today, on the International Day for the Abolition of Slavery, we stand in solemn reflection of the countless lives still bound by invisible chains—poverty, exploitation, and neglect. Among them, vulnerable children bear the heaviest burden, trapped in cycles of abuse, forced labor, and hopelessness. But these children are not mere statistics; they are dreams deferred. They are the artists, scientists, and leaders of tomorrow, waiting for someone to believe in their potential. Every child deserves the freedom to dream, to learn, and to thrive in a world that nurtures their dignity and protects their rights. Abolishing slavery is not just about dismantling oppressive systems—it’s about rebuilding lives. It’s about giving every child a chance to run free on paths paved with opportunities, not shackled by circumstance. Let us commit today to being their voice, their advocate, and their shield, ensuring no child is left behind. Together, we can break these chains and build futures filled with hope and possibilities. The fight for their freedom starts with us. On a vibrant weekend, the Brighton Bike Hub hosted an official social outing as usual, this time, the event turned into a remarkable celebration, marking a milestone for one of their own. This gathering was extra special as it coincided with the golden jubilee anniversary of Mr. Rotimi Aroge, the esteemed founder of The Ultimate Driver Global Network. Rotimi’s tireless advocacy for road safety, encapsulated in his motto, "Safety on the road is everybody's business," has made a profound impact on our community and beyond. His dedication to making our roads safer everywhere he goes has not only saved lives but also inspired countless individuals to take responsibility for their driving habits. The event was filled with laughter, camaraderie, and heartfelt tributes to Rotimi's contributions. Friends and colleagues from Brighton Bike Hub, The University of Sussex and The Ultimate Driver Global Network came together to honor his legacy and celebrate this significant personal milestone. The celebration was made even more memorable with performances by comedians Harry Hill, Fern Brady, Chloe Petts, and more, who kept the audience entertained with their wit and humor. As we commemorate Rotimi Aroge's 50th birthday, we also reflected on his incredible journey and the positive changes he continues to bring to the world of road safety as an advocate of the sustainable development goal (SDG 2030), the United Nations Decade of Action on Road Safety 2021-2030 and other local and global agenda. His leadership and vision remind us all that safety on the road truly is everybody's business. Happy Golden Jubilee, Mr. Rotimi Aroge! Here’s to many more years of making our roads safer for everyone.

Embracing the Spirit of Giving In a world where we are often focused on our own goals and aspirations, it's important to remember the profound impact we can have by helping those in need. Each act of kindness, no matter how small, can create a ripple effect that transforms lives. Helping those in need isn't just about charity—it's about empowering individuals and communities to thrive. It's about recognizing our shared humanity and the strength we gain from lifting each other up. When we extend a helping hand, we not only improve the lives of others but also enrich our own. Whether it's offering a kind word, volunteering our time, or providing financial support, every effort counts. Let's make a commitment to be there for one another, to be a source of hope and positivity in someone else's life. Remember, the true measure of our success is not just in what we achieve for ourselves, but in how we contribute to the well-being of others. Together, we can create a brighter, more compassionate world. Let's spread love, hope, and kindness today and every day. #GiveBack #HelpOthers #SpreadKindness #BeTheChange #EmpowerCommunities #MakeADifference #TogetherWeRise #HumanityFirst #ActsOfKindness #InspireHope #CommunitySupport https://lnkd.in/d4-4_AWa

📖✍️To effectively battle malaria, it is essential to comprehend the #lifecycle of the parasite and the behavior of Anopheles mosquitoes. 🙌 Here's an overview of the life cycle of malaria: 1) Mosquito 🦟 bite: An infected Anopheles #mosquito bites a #human, injecting #malaria parasites called sporozoites into the bloodstream. 2) Liver stage: The sporozoites travel to the liver and infect liver cells, where they grow and multiply. After some time, they burst out of the liver cells as merozoites and enter the bloodstream. 3) Red blood cell stage: The merozoites infect red blood cells, multiply, and cause the cells to burst, releasing more merozoites into the blood. This is what causes the symptoms of malaria like fever and chills. 4) Gametocyte formation: Some merozoites turn into sexual forms called gametocytes, which circulate in the blood. 5) Mosquito bites again: When another mosquito bites the infected human, it takes in the gametocytes. Inside the mosquito, the gametocytes mature into male and female gametes and fuse to form zygotes. 6) Mosquito development: The zygotes turn into ookinetes, which penetrate the mosquito’s stomach wall and become oocysts. These oocysts produce many sporozoites. 7) Ready to infect again: The sporozoites move to the mosquito’s salivary glands, ready to be injected into another human when the mosquito bites again, starting the cycle over.
