Join us in the Virtual Conference on the Domestication of the Startup Act. Theme: Partnership for the Domestication of the Startup Act. The Nigeria Start-up Act is now 2-years since it was signed into law, and already the start-up ecosystem is beginning to see its benefits, While this is true, domestication at the state level is critical for its impact to be felt locally. Despite its promise, domestication of the Startup Act has been slow, with only four states having domesticated it so far. However, like many other states, fragmented efforts and siloed approaches have hindered momentum. Nonprofits, public sector actors, and tech organizations have often worked independently, leading to missed opportunities for synergy. Information sharing about the Act and its domestication has been insufficient, leaving many stakeholders unaware of its potential across Nigerian states. This conference is an opportunity to bridge these gaps by raising questions and nurturing collaboration among all relevant stakeholders, including government representatives, tech organizations, civil society, and the private sector. The goal is to build and create a unified strategy and partnerships that ensure the domestication of the Startup Act across Nigerian states, owned by the ecosystem. Your participation is critical to achieving this shared vision. Date: Dec 14, 2024 Time: 2:00 PM Venue: Zoom (virtual) Meeting ID 839 1460 2403 Passcode 778344 Register in advance for this virtual conference: https://lnkd.in/diCZeMzt After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing all relevant information. @leapafrica #startup #startupact #innovation #techNigeria #thenigeriawewant NITDA Nigeria Innovation Support Network (ISN) Hubs Victoria Fabunmi, ACS, ACSI Murtala Adogi Mohammed Ph.D. theodore longji Umar M.
