Parent Teacher Conference held across all public primary schools in Kwara State on Friday December 13, 2024. As expected, there was a huge turnout and this indicates that parents and guardians are getting more involved in their children/wards education - a significant push by KwaraLEARN. KwaraLEARN will continue to intensify parents and guardians involvement in basic education as the synergy cannot be overemphasised. Pupils are encouraged to always crave their parents’ attention and push them to attend the PTC meetings. This meeting enhances the parent-teacher relationship while focusing on the child’s development through in-depth discussion of a pupil’s academic performances. #EducationForAll #ImprovedLearningOutcomes #RightToEducation

KwaraLEARN team (led by Laide Abel, Managing Director) and Moro LGA Education Secretary (Hajia Aminat Mustapha) paid a courtesy visit to the ruler of Shao, the Ohoro of Shao Land - His Royal Highness, Oba (Dr.) Job Obalowu Atolagbe Ayanwola IV Ilufemiloye on Thursday December 12, 2024. The team was well received by the Royal Father and some KwaraLEARN books and tablets were shown to him as part of the instructional materials provided by KwaraLEARN. Kabiyesi affirmed that the visit was well timed as plans are in place to ensure all out-of-school children in Shao and environs are enrolled in schools by next term. He advised and suggested an appropriate date for the next enrolment drive. Community engagement will continue to be utilized to drive the enrolment of out-of-school children into public primary schools across the local government areas of Kwara State. #EveryChildCounts #EducationForAll #ImprovedLearningOutcomes #RightToEducation
