🎙️Spoken Word Poet 🎗️Climate Leader. Changemaker 🇪🇺Youth Advisor to the European Union

Honoured to have performed at LinkedIn Local - Akure by conveying the essence of the theme "From Local To Global" through spoken word poetry. I love to deliver my art as a form of edutainment (education + entertainment). Beyond being Victory Ashaka on stage, it was great to have had crucial conversations with the students of the Federal University of Technology. It was thrilling to have travelled and graced the same platform alongside my brothers in purpose & impact Emmanuel Nduka, Oladotun Ajayi, Williams Tomide Sodunke Kudos to Elizabeth Boluwatife Rotimi, Faizat Hussein and the team for championing this worthy cause for social impact. Once again, this experience reminded me that every small action of impact we make multiplies if we all do it. 📸: Local to Global, LLA #linkedin #poet #linkedinlocal #impact

Tech + Social Impact | Youth Empowerment | Partnerships | Building, Techies on LinkedIn | Building my purpose & Sharing the journey with you.🪄

The vision is free, but the journey isn’t - it is costly. The first time I came across these words, it was by Oladotun Ajayi when he organized LinkedIn Local Ogbomoso and I loved them. But, it wasn’t until I stepped into the journey of organizing my first physical event that I felt the true weight of those words. On the 31st of August, a vision I got at the beginning of the year was turned into reality in Akure. The second edition of LinkedIn Local - Akure drew more than 800 attendees, there’s no limit to what can be achieved when passion meets purpose. As the Convener and Lead for Sponsorships and Partnerships, this journey has etched lessons I will carry with me for a lifetime. I had never done anything like this before. I knew one thing for sure- God doesn’t send you and leave you! When the vision for LinkedIn Local Akure first came to me, it was scary. I had so many questions and doubts. How do I raise money? How do I bring the team together? How do I manage it with my schedule? How do I get brands to sponsor? How do I talk to people? How? I can’t even remember all the questions anymore but they were a lot. But yeah, I mustered the courage to begin. I reached out to Faizat Hussein to be my co-convener and together, we assembled a team of like-minded individuals driven by the same passion. It was my first time organizing something this big, and it was tough. I pushed. I cried, wiped my tears, and pushed again. Fundraising was a challenge—a story for another day—but in every hurdle, God showed up. He funded the dream. This journey wasn’t easy, but the most beautiful things in life rarely are. Heroes are made from the moments they choose to tread the path less traveled, to do the hard - the unconventional things. The event was extraordinary. Lives were touched, connections were built, and history was made. God held my hands and He never let go. My heart overflows with gratitude to everyone who stood by me, supported, and believed in this vision. To our incredible team, how can I ever thank you enough? To our speakers, Emmanuel Nduka, Oladotun Ajayi, Haoma Worgwu, Tunji Ojediran, Williams Tomide Sodunke, Cräcky Brown, and our esteemed panelists, thank you for giving without holding back. To our sponsors and partners, your generosity brought this dream to life. And to you, reading this and cheering me on, thank you. I will never get over this. I am still in awe, and the main summary is: The Lord funds His vision! P.S: Thank you, Deborah Akande. Thank you for giving me the most beautiful dress.❤️ #fromlocaltoglobal #lla2024

Reliving last Saturday’s moments at LinkedIn Local - Akure It was an amazing way to wrap up August—my first time attending a LinkedIn Local event, and it was well worth it! Hearing the speakers share their experiences on scaling their brands from local to global was both insightful and motivating. Kudos to the convener Elizabeth Boluwatife Rotimi and co-convener Faizat Hussein for organizing such a mind-blowing event here in Akure! I also had the chance to connect with my boss Williams Tomide Sodunke and incredible LinkedIn connections like Gold Olorunwa 🦅, Faruq Odejobi (GMNSE), and Victory Nnamdi. Meeting them in person made the event even more special. Here are my key takeaways from the event (you know I love to share my lessons!): • Define what failure and success mean to you, based on what is possible and attainable in your life. • Every successful journey begins with a clear purpose and destination, guided by direction. • Nothing is too small to be paid for if you can communicate its value. • Have something valuable to offer beyond your influence and popularity (don't be a broke, popular person and don't be influential and not popular). • Start now and keep the end in mind. • The next 5 years will be shaped by the people you meet, the places you go, and the opportunities you take. P.S.: Which lesson resonates most with you? P.P.S.: Wishing you all a happy weekend! ✨✨

It's already 7 days ago since we had LinkedIn Local - Akure 2.0 event and I will like to share some of the things I learnt at the event and to also appreciate some set of people. Here are the things I learnt from the speakers: - In order to succeed, you need to clearly define your purpose by discovering your purpose first which is validated by an understanding of the right direction. - Build a positive community with the right people that can push you to your greatness. - Believe in yourself by building confidence. Carry your self with charisma. I also want to use this medium to appreciate Ifeoluwa Osogbon for sponsoring my ticket to be part of the great event and a big shout out to the convener of the event Elizabeth Boluwatife Rotimi, the co-convener Faizat Hussein, the market influencer Samuel Oyebode (Sàámú Eléja) and the PR Team at large for making this event a successful and a memorable one. Our speakers Tunji Ojediran, Amb. Victory Ashaka, Emmanuel Nduka did amazing job for the knowledge impacted. The panelists and moderators did great job as well, Olusade Daniel, OLUWALONIMI ONIYA and Daniel Olaoluwa Oyedele to mention a few. #LinkedInLocal #Localtoglobal

I recently had the privilege of attending one of the most impactful events in Akure LinkedIn Local - Akure Hosted by the incredible Elizabeth Boluwatife Rotimi . It was a game-changing experience, and I’m excited to share a few key takeaways that will stay with me. Here’s what I learned from some of the amazing speakers: Elizabeth Boluwatife Rotimi – Bringing a Goal to Reality She emphasized the importance of taking action. It all starts with an idea, but the real magic happens when you put in the work to make that idea come to life. Kehinde Jacob Metibemu – Clarity and Value Creation A clear vision drives global success. Create value for yourself and others. Start now—you’ll figure out the rest along the way. Global talent is built through association and strong personal ethics. Williams Tomide Sodunke – Building a Strong Personal Brand Showcase your skills and target the right audience. Optimize your profile and understand the kind of content that attracts your audience. Cracky Brown – Your Skills Are Your Business Break local rules to achieve global success. Solve problems with whatever you do. Wealth comes in many forms: financial, social, physical, and time wealth. Money responds to value; let your value justify your pricing. Relationships are currency—build and nurture them. Tunji Ojediran – Purpose and Direction Every successful journey starts with purpose and direction. Small steps lead to bigger achievements. Start with what you know—it will guide you to the next stage. This event left me inspired and energized to continue working toward my goals with more clarity and purpose. A huge thank you to all the speakers for their wisdom and insights! #LinkedInLocal #GoalSetting #Inspiration #PersonalGrowth #ValueCreation

LLA2.0 Day 4 Reflection: My Volunteering review With the consciousness that a time will come when people may forget my name how I look, but they won't forget the impact. This mindset drives me to make a lasting difference in the lives of others. When it comes to impacting lives and giving to the community, I don't just take a step, I go for the walk. Volunteering for life-changing programs is something I'm passionate about. I participate actively and am always open to learning on the job in case it is a new terrain. My engagement as a volunteer in LLA2.0 is a testament. Despite it being my first official stint as part of a PR team for an event, my presence was noticed within a few days of joining the team. Sequel to my activities, I was privileged to become the PR Team lead while my predecessor Victory Nnamdi is to handle bigger team. Two of many reviews Elizabeth Boluwatife Rotimi , the convener, "Thank you so much, dear. You've outdone yourself. God bless and keep you!" Samuel Oyebode (Sàámú Eléja) , the marketing team lead, "My mannn, you really manned your role and gave LLA the visibility it deserved; thousands got blessed because of you" I'm glad to have been privileged to contribute to the global propelling event. I'm open to participating in similar events so as to keep impacting and giving to the community 📸 My Certificate of Appreciation, from LinkedIn Local - Akure .

Last week Saturday, we had a hall packed but fire broke out😭😭😭. The arrangements of listeners, The effervescence that filled the atmosphere through the chemical combination of words from sound minds, The leftover values that abrogates proposed negligence, The cracky entertainment, how sweet. It's a week now but the overwhelming influence LinkedIn Local - Akure had on its participants is a story to be told for a lifetime. Starting from the careful choice of speakers to the event presentation and speech delivery from learned and experienced speakers inclusive of Emmanuel Nduka, Oladotun Ajayi Williams Tomide Sodunke, Tunji Ojediran among several other speakers, cannot be undermined Amb. Victory Ashaka whose words were carefully woven together left the House "Mouth-opened" The fire breaking talks from the speakers indeed cannot be forgotten in a lifetime. I was opportune to work side by side with the Convener Elizabeth Boluwatife Rotimi and the co-convener Faizat Hussein . At the event, I Moderated the Tech Panel session as well as served as a volunteer under the: ✓ Organizing Team ✓ Sponsorship and Partnership Team ✓ Offline Marketing Team. At the course of it all, I got the chances to network and as well replanned. The significance of going global apparently doesn't start immediately. It has to go through a period of growth and consistency. In the sayings of my model Tunde Onakoya how that 'We can do big things from small places', I got a prime influence, a change in thought as well as a redirection and i am much propelled to take the flight to the top. Insignificant today, a big name tomorrow. My name is Daniel Olaoluwa Oyedele , the Future Minister of Education, Nigeria. PS: How's your Saturday going? Well, I am currently at a speaking engagement where I'd soon be staged as the Panel Moderator 💓 #Volunteering #LinkedIn #Weekendmusings

*Chronicles of LinkedIn Local - Akure * This time last week, we gathered for one of Akure’s biggest events, brilliantly hosted by Elizabeth Boluwatife Rotimi and Faizat Hussein . Initially, I was hesitant about getting a ticket, but I’m so glad I did — LinkedIn Local - Akure was absolutely worth it. The panel discussions, guest speakers, and overall experience were incredible. It was my first time meeting Emmanuel Nduka and Oladotun Ajayi, and I felt truly honored to learn from them. The guest speakers and panelists delivered content that is sure to ignite one’s passion for becoming a global voice. I walked away with many insights, but two key takeaways stood out: building confidence and learning to shamelessly promote myself. It’s crucial to be confident in your work and unashamed to share what you do with others. Quoting some of the speakers: 1. “Every successful journey begins with a purpose in mind.” – Tunji Ojediran 2. “Pursue value, put your hands to work, solve problems (Money responds to value).” – Cräcky Bröwn undefined 3. “Have a clear vision of your idea, nurture it, and build quality relationships that push you towards becoming a global talent.” – Kehinde Jacob Metibemu 4. “Intentionally build quality structures and communities around you.” These reflections led me to ask: 1. Where am I coming from? 2. Where am I going? 3. What steps do I need to take to reach my goals? 4. What skills are required to get there? I’ve found answers to some of these questions and am still working on the rest. A special thank you to our host, Elizabeth Boluwatife Rotimi co-host, Faizat Hussein for making this vision a reality. LinkedIn Local - Akure was truly worthwhile! 💯 To my amazing LinkedIn friends, I look forward to meeting you on the global stage! 🤝 L - R: Babatunde Oluwatimilehin, Israel Akinlabi , Oyedokun Kehinde.
