It was an incredible experience touring the world-class TVS 3-Wheeler Manufacturing Plant in Bangalore, India. Witnessing the scale and impact they've achieved through technology was truly remarkable. The facility's capacity to produce 250,000 tricycles annually underscores the potential of innovation and efficiency in addressing mobility needs at scale. What impressed me the most was how the market in Bangalore is built to support multimodal transport—okadas, scooters, buses, and cars seamlessly sharing the same roads. It’s a testament to how diverse mobility solutions can coexist and thrive in a modern city. At MAX, we firmly believe that okadas (motorcycles) are not just part of Africa’s transport DNA but can also play a significant role in shaping the future of global, modern cities.
