Mentoring Individual's Dream (MiND) Initiative a non-profit, non-political and non-governmental youth focused civic hub of active democratic change makers that are passionate in the advancement of good governance and civic rights, anti-corruption, climate action and youth engagement. We do this by attracting reforms through data driven advocacies, building active and informed citizens via capacity development. Over the years, MiND Initiative has continually partnered with other organizations to actively engage our citizens in environmental friendly initiatives, support and advocate reforms in our democratic process that achieves a more sustainable development for the African continent. Day 2 of the #CVR exercise in Edo State: INEC online portal for the CVR exercise was up and running. Our team of volunteers assisted with crowd control and guided citizens on how to apply for PVC replacement and PU transfer using the online portal. #EdoDecides2024

Upon the commencement of the #CVR exercise in Edo State, our team observed the process at various registration centers. While INEC Nigeria personnel were fully present with the necessary materials, the exercise faced significant setbacks due to technical issues with the CVR portal. We're following up with @InecEdo as they make practical efforts in resolving this technical issue.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will resume the registration of new voters from May 27, 2024, to June 5, 2024. Citizens of voting age in Edo State can also use this opportunity to apply for a replacement of their damaged or missing PVCs, relocate their voting center/polling unit using the INEC online platform [https://lnkd.in/eNzGJ4v](https://lnkd.in/eNzGJ4v), and collect their PVCs. This PVC registration and collection will take place at all registration centers in the 18 LGAs of Edo State.
