Ikorodu's Outreach was amazing! Dear MomSafetribe, We bring good tidings from our PPH Awareness visit to the Helping Hands Royal Hospital, Ikorodu, Lagos State, Nigeria. We engaged 25 stakeholders which included 8 pregnant women, 9 men, 5 matrons and 4 mothers among whom one mentioned that her sister went through PPH and they lost the baby. It was a practical and fun time of learning as Pamphlets and Posters were shared which spoke about Signs, and how to prevent PPH and also exercises and dances done. In appreciation to the hospital's management, we presented a clock to the CEO to say thank you for providing a space for MOMSAFE to speak about PPH We appreciate our partners in ideation and execution at Ideation Hub Africa, Access Bank and the Action Coronation trust foundation. Championing Maternal Health: MomSafe Africa's Visit to Ibadan At MomSafe, our mission is to reduce maternal mortality through impactful interventions—and last week, we brought that mission to life in Ibadan! Our team of six passionate advocates visited Vine Branch Medical Centre, Mokola, Ibadan, to promote the prevention of postpartum hemorrhage (PPH), a leading cause of maternal deaths. We engaged with antenatal care (ANC) patients, sharing vital health education on PPH prevention, empowering them with knowledge for safer childbirth experiences. As part of the visit, we appreciated the hospital management, recognizing their unwavering commitment to advancing women’s health in their community.
