We are happy to have our founder Ebere Okonkwo at the frontline of our work at Mycarebuddy featured by Orange Corners. Find below 👇
Meet one of our Cohort 9 entrepreneurs, Ebere Okonkwo Founder/CEO of Mycarebuddy a transformative business addressing mental health challenges and promoting personal well-being. Mycarebuddy is on a mission to solve pressing mental health issues by: 📌 Providing professional therapy services and training to support mental wellness. 📌 Creating awareness through innovative mental wellness products designed to remind users of the importance of being mentally healthy. 📌 Offering affirming tools to help individuals navigate challenges and enhance their quality of life. Ebere shared how being part of the Orange Corners Nigeria (OCN) program gave Mycarebuddy the tools and support to grow. Through expert-led sessions and mentorship, the program addressed key challenges like scaling, marketing, business structuring, and funding. Mycarebuddy also received £5,000 in funding, which has been instrumental in driving their mission forward. The impact has been profound—post-program, Mycarebuddy improved its marketing strategies, established profitable partnerships, and refined its business structure, setting the stage for increased revenue and long-term growth. What keeps Ebere going is her unwavering sense of purpose. “Hard as it may be, my life is bigger than me. I cannot stop until I do that which I must do.” Outside of business, Ebere finds inspiration in gospel music, which fuels her creativity and inner strength, and in writing, which she finds deeply therapeutic. Her entrepreneurial journey has imparted critical lessons: • Your WHY must be strong enough to withstand challenges. • Setbacks are inevitable, but a strong purpose will always drive you forward. We are proud to celebrate Ebere’s achievements and the meaningful work Mycarebuddy is doing to promote mental wellness. Keep inspiring, Ebere!
