🌟 𝑴𝒚 𝑱𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒏𝒆𝒚 𝒂𝒔 𝒂 𝑭𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒅 𝑰𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒏 𝒂𝒕 at Netwalkers NG 🌟 Over the past few weeks, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to grow as a Frontend Developer Intern at Netwalkers NG. It has been an exciting learning journey that pushed me to improve my coding skills and develop problem-solving techniques through real-world tasks. Here's a quick rundown of my journey: 💻 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝟏 – 𝐅𝐢𝐠𝐦𝐚 𝐭𝐨 𝐂𝐨𝐝𝐞: I started with a project to convert a Figma design into a functional webpage using basic HTML and CSS. It was a great challenge to ensure the design translated seamlessly into code while maintaining the visual integrity of the original design. 📱 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝟐 – 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞: Next, I learned to make the webpage responsive, so it looked perfect on all screen sizes, from mobile devices to desktops. Handling media queries and adjusting layouts for various devices was a big part of this task. 📝 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝟑 – 𝐀𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐬: In the third week, I was tasked with adding a Prescription table and several forms to the webpage. 🌐 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝟰 – 𝗙𝗲𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗔𝗣𝗜𝘀: The most challenging yet rewarding part was integrating APIs into the webpage to fetch and display real-time data dynamically. I implemented a two-step data-fetching process where selecting an item from one list would automatically populate another based on an API response. With some trial and error (and a bit of debugging!), I was able to tackle issues such as handling undefined data and ensuring that the UI responds to API calls as expected. I’m excited to apply these lessons as I continue to grow as a developer. 💡 I’m truly grateful to Netwalkers NG for this hands-on experience, and for the opportunity to work on live projects that have honed my skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and API Integration.
