On the 4th day of the ongoing Nigeria in Space @ 25 week jointly organised by National Space Research & Development Agency (NASRDA), NIGERIAN COMMUNICATIONS SATELLITE LIMITED (NIGCOMSAT) and the Defence Space Administration, NIGCOMSAT sat on a panel that discussed “Sustainability of the Space Programme through Public Private Partnership.” We were represented by the Deputy General Manager, Innovation and Development, ifeoma nzekwe, who highlighted NIGCOMSAT’s efforts in sustaining Nigeria’s space programme through its innovative space-based Accelerator Programme which, is rooted in Public-Private Partnership (PPP) initiatives. As part of the technical session for Day 2 of the Nigeria in Space at 25 week, Dr Muhammad Alkali, NIGCOMSAT’s Head of Products & Presales( HoPP), was on a panel that discussed “Indigenous Capabilities in Satellite Technology and Launch Services.” In his contributions, he gave valuable insights on strategy development and execution.
