Pitstop Lagos is a wellness and lifestyle bistro situated in Victoria Island, Lagos. Pitstop offers a full suite of a café/restaurant, bicycles and accessories shop, a Wattbike studio and a bike maintenance workshop. Pitstop was founded with a vision to promote lifestyle choices that lead to optimal wellness outcomes by offering healthy and nourishing meals in a comfortable, relaxed and fun-filled environment. Our mission is to be the “go to place” for wellness enthusiasts to relax, replenish, recharge, network and enjoy. We are a one-stop hub for cyclists, runners, walkers and enthusiasts of all sporting activities that promote wellness. Pitstop is a “passion to portfolio” business as the founder is a keen cyclist, walker and general lover of the outdoors and wellness. She is a trained Barista and a budding Chef. It is a female owned Nigerian business that is driven by a strong desire to create social impact. Central to the project is The Pitstop Community, which is built around the idea of organizing group bike rides and runs that offer enthusiasts a safe and fun environment to enjoy the sport. The Pitstop Community is creating an ecosystem around cycling by engaging the local elite to be gainfully employed whilst also offering training along the entire value chain of the business. We intend to build a delivery business around the elite riders using bicycles in a way that reduces our carbon footprint and preserves our environment. Thus, whilst Pitstop is a commercial enterprise, it is in many ways a “community based business” that seeks to create platforms to empower its people and drive social change in our community.
