"How do I share my work online without oversharing?" 👇🏼 This question came up during the Creative Panel Session at the Smart Career Woman event. A project manager in the audience asked Joyce Daniels for advice on showcasing her portfolio without revealing too much about her work or clients. Joyce Daniels shared a key insight: Clients care more about what you can do than who you’ve worked with. What are your thoughts on documenting your work online? How do you balance sharing and privacy? Let’s chat in the comments! #SmartCareerWoman #EventHighlight

When Adeife Adeoye said she wanted to host an event for Remote WorkHER , I had no idea what I was in for. Planning an event for a community of incredible women to discuss career growth, finance, freelancing, content creation, and entrepreneurship was as exciting as it was challenging. It wasn’t just about logistics; it was about creating an experience that would inspire, connect, and empower! Here’s what I did: • Managing Volunteers: From selecting the right people to keeping them motivated, they were the backbone of the event. • Managing Sponsors: I negotiated deals, drafted contracts, followed up tirelessly, and ensured everyone was satisfied. • Coordinating Vendors: Securing services, managing deliveries, and solving last-minute issues, it wasn’t easy, but it worked. • Creative Oversight: I worked closely with the graphic designer and videographer, making sure every visual reflected our vision perfectly. And the highlight? My boss wanted the guests to leave feeling well-fed and completely cared for and we delivered 100%! Her influence brought amazing sponsors on board, and I made sure those relationships were managed seamlessly. This experience taught me so much about teamwork, communication, and keeping calm under pressure. Seeing everything come together on event day was nothing short of magical. If you’ve ever planned or been part of an event, what’s one thing you learned that stuck with you? I’d love to hear your thoughts! PS: see more highlights on my tiktok @aishadraftss :)

A Little Gist from Yesterday’s Event hosted by Remote WorkHER! Yesterday was nothing short of inspiring! Like I said, I came in as a speaker, but I left with so much more—insight, connections, and invaluable lessons. Every interaction reminded me of the importance of sharing knowledge and staying open to learning. One of the highlights of yesterday’s event was meeting people who recognized me from LinkedIn! Hearing them say, 'I know you from LinkedIn!' honestly made my day. I couldn’t stop blushing. 😊 Moments like these remind me of the power of connection and how impactful this platform can be. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello—you all made the experience unforgettable! Stay tuned for more snippets—this is just the beginning! #Thesmartcareerwoman
