Volunteering Experience: Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) - Alico Dangote Foundation| 1Ummah In April 2024, I had the privilege of volunteering with the #AlicoDangoteFoundation (Dangote Industries Limited in collaboration with #1Ummah (1UMMAH Your Community LTD ) where we distributed hundreds of bags of rice to the less privileged in the Shomolu local government area of Lagos State. Working alongside a dedicated team, including our coordinator Bilikis and colleagues like Nurudeen, was an inspiring and humbling experience. As an #HRProfessional, I am deeply aware of the transformative power of #CorporateSocialResponsibility (#CSR). Initiatives like these not only address immediate needs within our communities but also build a bridge between organizations and the society they serve. CSR fosters a culture of empathy and engagement, which in turn boosts employee morale, enhances company reputation, and strengthens community ties.
