Two Days ago I found out that almost all the employees in my friends organization had resigned🙈 I’m at a loss for words! Let’s go back to my post yesterday about creating a people-centric culture!! First it would interest you to know, that the culture in this organization, is a tad bit stifling, the systems and structures put in place are not followed to the letter as it’s mostly totalitarian in it’s approach to employees and policies in general. Now, back to my post yesterday about the lacklustre employees, remember their mode of communication was lacklustre, no system of feedback, no clarity in information being passed across, no hospitality? Of course this is to be expected from employees in an environment like my friend’s company where every is more dictatorial than flexible!! For most of the employees to have resigned, it means they were being frustrated, no growth, no recognitions, no encouraging compensation and the list goes on. Expecting your employees to still deliver excellently on the job without creating an enabling environment, will only lead to a HIGH-TURNOVER RATE for your organization!!!
