SHAPING THE FUTURE OF LEARNING We started by delivering content in a gamified format to enhance learning. Now, we’re taking it a step further—allowing you to become a creator! Imagine learning in a way that’s interactive, fun, and rewarding—that’s exactly what we’re building! Our app uses AI to transform your learning materials into engaging, gamified experiences for both students and educators. 🔹How It Works: Simply upload your bulky content (PDF, URL, etc.), and our app's AI converts it into micro-content using gamification—tailored to your interests. Think quizzes, challenges, and bite-sized learning experiences! Here’s Where We Are: ✔️Pilot Testing: We have 10 interested testers and are expanding to 30 educators and 100 learners. ✔️Product Development: We are still on track for our Q1 launch! ✔️Product Design: Our Product Design Hackathon kicks off this February. We’re building something exciting, and we’d love for you to be part of this journey! 🚀 #Edtech #GamifiedLearning #LearningInnovation #InteractiveLearning

When I started my journey in tech, I thought success meant following the most popular career paths—roles that everyone seemed to talk about or celebrate. Don’t get me wrong, these roles are fantastic and contribute greatly to the industry. But as more people flood into them, competition becomes fierce, and opportunities can sometimes feel limited. Here’s what I’ve learned: value isn’t always where the spotlight is shining. Recently, I took on a new role as Lead Instructor at 1411 Group. Over the years, while mentoring and training individuals at LearnlyApp EdTech, Digital Regenesys and many others, one thing I always emphasize is this: know yourself. Understand what works best for you, what you genuinely enjoy doing, and where your strengths lie. That’s where your growth will come from. The tech space is so vast, and there are so many valuable career paths to explore just to mention but a few: • Quality Assurance/Software Testing: Ensure products are bug-free and user-friendly. • Cybersecurity Specialists: Protect systems and sensitive data. • AI and Machine Learning Engineers: Build intelligent solutions shaping the future. • DevOps Engineers: Improve collaboration between development and operations teams. • Systems Engineers: Manage and maintain large IT infrastructures. • Software Engineering: Develop solutions that power apps and digital platforms. • Product Design: Craft user experiences that make digital products intuitive and delightful to use. If you want to grow and thrive in your chosen field, here are a few things you can do to stay ahead: 1️⃣ Follow thought leaders on LinkedIn — People like Nashlie Sephus, Ph.D. for AI, or Tanya Janca and Confidence Staveley for cybersecurity, Grace Omole for Technical product management, Dima Sergutov for Product design , Robert Kehinde for software engineering and so many more for insightful content. 2️⃣ Stay curious: The day you stop learning is the day you die. You have to Keep learning. Invest in knowledge. Get trained online and certified on platforms like 1411 Group, LearnlyApp EdTech, Digital Regenesys and so many more. Just make your research and get yourself equipped with knowledge. 3️⃣ Get involved in communities: Join tech groups, attend webinars, and network intentionally. The key is this: Don’t follow the noise; follow what resonates with you. Sometimes, the road less traveled gets you to your destination faster. Do well to follow me or connect with me for anything Quality Assurance/Software Testing and tech related matters. Cheers to finding your unique value and thriving in your lane this week. I remain your favorite tech buddy, Oluwabukola Adesina. Till we all win ✌️

The first day of collaboration and testing with the Start-up, LearnlyApp ! I had online meeting with the founder, Ibiyemi Pedro, and discussed the App that he and his team have been developing. I applied for this chance because I was also interested in developing learning platform for learners and educators. The learning app idea was impressive and valuable! I am looking forward to the next meeting with this company!!

Today, I worked on the design of two key screens for an EdTech app designed to enhance the learning experience through structure and motivation. The first screen is the Course Content Screen, which acts as both an overview and guide for the user’s learning journey. I wanted to ensure clarity right from the start, so the screen provides a course title, a brief description, and a progress bar, giving users an immediate sense of where they are and what’s left to cover. I added important metrics like total video duration, the number of students taking the course, and the number of lessons available. These details give users quick insights into the course’s scope and popularity. But the key thought behind this screen is Progressive learning. The content is sequenced in a way that users can’t skip topics. This ensures they fully engage with each lesson, absorbing the necessary information before moving to the next. It’s designed to prevent users from rushing through material and encourages a steady, focused learning experience. The second screen is the Leaderboard, where the element of gamification shines. Learning can be competitive too, and I wanted to tap into that motivation by adding a leaderboard that shows the top 3 students prominently on a podium, complete with medal icons for that real world sense of achievement. The rest of the students are listed below with an indication of their rank movement, represented by arrows pointing up or down. This design introduces a sense of friendly competition, encouraging users to stay engaged and motivated to perform better, ultimately reinforcing learning consistency. The thought process behind this? I aimed to make the learning experience structured, motivating, and engaging leveraging progress and competition to help users not just learn, but thrive. It’s not just about the content; it’s about the journey of learning and keeping users focused and inspired. By the way, I got the course content titles from LearnlyApp EdTech micro course. You could do well to check them out. #ui #uiux
