West Atlantic Shipyard is a Subsidiary of the PIRIOU group formed in 2004 in Nigeria. To build support ships for the offshore oil and gas industry in accordance with the Nigerian Coastal and Inland Shipping Act and in keeping with the spirit of promoting “local content”. WEST ATLANTIC SHIPYARD started its activity by building aluminium crew-boats, from 18 to 32m in length. To meet exponential repair demand and the demands of the shipbuilding order book, the shipyard’s workforce has grown to over 200 workers. The supervisor will oversee day-to-day maintenance operations, ensure equipment reliability, and manage a team of maintenance staff to support repair and shipbuilding projects. Qualifications Supervisory Skills, Equipment Maintenance, and Preventive Maintenance Maintenance & Repair, Troubleshooting Experience in managing maintenance operations and teams Knowledge of ship repair and refit processes Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Excellent communication and teamwork skills Relevant technical degree or certification in Engineering or related field Good diagnostic and problem solving skills Communication and Interpersonal skills Strong technical Aptitude Record keeping/reporting skills Ability to use basic Microsoft offices Interested and Qualified candidates should send CV to human.resource@was-shipyard.com on or before 9th December 2024.
