Based in Lagos, Nigeria, Titi has devoted her career to championing African designers and elevating their work on the global stage. As the founder of Design Week Lagos (DWL), she has created a platform that showcases the finest in contemporary African design across disciplines, cementing its place as a leading design event on the continent. Through her role as CEO of Essential Media Group (EMG), Titi leads Africa's most influential design-led media group, publishing acclaimed design and culture magazines, organizing world-class events, and curating over 27 books on African design. Her contributions don’t stop there. Titi made waves in the film industry by producing Made by Design, a Netflix documentary series spotlighting architects, interior designers, and product designers in Nigeria, the African continent, and the diaspora. Her docufilm Mama Nike celebrates the resilience and creativity of Nike Davies-Okundaye, a pioneer in preserving African craft and culture. In addition to her creative pursuits, Titi has broken barriers globally. As the youngest and the first African to become the President of the International Federation of Interior Architects/Designers (IFI), she continues to advocate for design as a tool for social change and economic empowerment.
