2024 was an incredible year for us at WomenInDeFi, marked by growth, challenges, and impactful achievements. Stepping into the role of Partnerships Manager was a transformative experience for me. From identifying leads and sourcing sponsors to creating meaningful conversations, negotiating terms, and closing deals—it was both challenging and fulfilling. Putting myself out there required stepping out of my comfort zone, but I loved every bit of it. Through our collective efforts, we closed several key partnerships, while others remain in progress. As an organization, Women in DeFi remains steadfast in its vision of empowering African women with the tools and skills needed to gain financial freedom through DeFi and blockchain technology. 2024 was a year of remarkable milestones, notably: ✅ Growing our community to over 5,000 members across Africa. ✅ Launching impactful initiatives that resonated with our vision. ✅ Expanding partnerships with amazing sponsors who believe in our mission. These achievements are only the beginning. 2024 was a good year, 2025 was definitely greater and more fruitful.
