Create real impact with data & AI

Over ons

ADC is a Data & AI Consultancy helping organisations achieve their goals by identifying, co-creating, and implementing impactful data-driven solutions. From data strategy to data engineering; from advanced analytics to UX: we make sure it all adds up. Industries we understand: Financial Services, Life Sciences, Public, Energy, Agriculture & Food, Retail, and more. Your organisation doesn’t need algorithms. It needs solutions: ✓ Efficient Decision Making. Whether it is finding proof for an impactful C-level strategic decision, or improving continuous decision making in workflows (i.e.: automated recommendations): we make data work for your organisation. ✓ Processing complexity. Think of something like the national Covid policy, for example: highly complex processes with countless variables, impossible to fathom by the human brain. We develop algorithms that better predict the impact of decisions. ✓ Managing risk and compliance. We unlock your data to show the regulator that your organisation is compliant to all required rules and regulations and is managing risk effectively. ✓ Unveiling untapped potential: We will explore every way in which your data can be used; it might even contain a whole new business model. Let’s do this. Why we exist: We want to help organisations to become truly data-driven. And our collective culture is the key to success. As our client, you might meet only a few of our people, but you can trust in their unlimited access to the brains of a talented group of colleagues in Copenhagen, Stockholm, and Amsterdam. And everyone within our agency can rely on the practical experience accumulated by us all. As a collective, we stand strong.

Last week, our team participated in the Econometrics Career Days at Erasmus University Rotterdam. It was a great opportunity to connect with talented students and share more about ADC’s values and vision for the future. Two ADC Consultants, Teodora Stoenescu and Olivier van Heck, spoke about their experiences at ADC, showcasing how they’ve contributed to helping our clients adopt a data-driven culture. Kata Nagy (Senior Recruiter): "We’re inspired by the enthusiasm and curiosity of the students we met and and hope to welcome some of them into ADC in the future!"

In yesterday’s Het Financieele Dagblad, journalist Sandra Olsthoorn explores the rise of agentic AI, technology that goes beyond generating content to actively performing tasks. Our CTO, Casper Rutjes, shared his expertise on how these agents combine specialised AI models to automate complex processes. For those of you who missed it, here’s a short summary of the article: The article explores the emergence of agentic AI, systems capable of not just generating content but performing tasks autonomously. Companies like Salesforce, Microsoft, and Anthropic are introducing AI agents that automate tasks ranging from scheduling to inventory management. Despite the potential, businesses are cautious, with challenges like AI hallucinations and the need to rethink processes from the ground up. Casper Rutjes emphasises the collaborative nature of agents, which combine specialised AI components to handle complex workflows. He notes that a multi-agent approach and reliable data sources can enhance their trustworthiness to a level where hallucinations are a thing of the past. The push for agent adoption is also financially motivated, as tech giants seek a “killer app” to justify massive AI investments. While promising, the transition will require businesses to adapt quickly to a future where personal and corporate agents are ubiquitous, potentially reshaping the way we work and interact. #AI #Innovation #AgenticAI

Members of the ADC Amsterdam office and our new colleagues from CLEVER°FRANKE took a step toward strengthening our collaboration with a joint event on Forteiland Pampus, a UNESCO World Heritage site in the Netherlands. Pampus Island, an artificial 19th-century sea fort, once protected the entrance to IJ Bay and Amsterdam’s harbour. Its creators used precise calculations to strategically position cannons for maximum defense…so you could say they were among the first data & AI experts! The afternoon provided an ideal setting to connect and align as we explored how our combined teams can best support each other in upcoming projects.

During the Dutch Dementia Researchers Conference, Jochem Huijps (Manager, ADC) introduced the updated version of the Dementie in Kaart dashboard, offering a clearer picture of dementia’s growing impact in the Netherlands. As dementia becomes the leading cause of death and the most expensive health condition in the country, understanding and planning for future care needs is more crucial than ever. However, the diverse forms of dementia care and scattered data make this a complex challenge. On behalf of the Ministerie van Volksgezondheid, Welzijn en Sport (Health, Welfare and Sports), ADC Consulting, together with the Erasmus School of Health Policy & Management (ESHPM), has created a public dashboard that consolidates relevant data on dementia. The dashboard enables policymakers, insurers, care offices, and municipalities to anticipate future demands and gain valuable insights into how dementia care is organised across regions. The dashboard also promotes shared learning among regions, supporting the development of a more adaptive and effective healthcare system. For more information about this project, contact Jochem Huijps or visit https://lnkd.in/eHc9eRAq
