The Acqua Lounge in Lawrence, MA, recently underwent a complete transformation, with a new lighting system centered around ADJ fixtures playing a key role. Spearheaded by Tirso Lighting, the renovation stripped the venue down to its bare essentials—floor, ceiling, and walls—before rebuilding it with a fresh layout, modern interior design, and an upgraded AVL system. The result is a luxurious and dynamic space that sets it apart from local competitors. The lighting installation features ADJ Focus Beam LED, Focus Spot 5Z, Jolt Bar FX, 12PX HEX, and COB Cannon Wash fixtures. ADJ showcased an eye-catching time-coded light show at the recent LDI tradeshow in Las Vegas, featuring a selection of its latest fixtures and brand-new product releases. ADJ’s Edgar Bernal details the new EVS3 FLEX45 at LDI 2024. The EVS3 FLEX45 LED Video panel features a 3.91mm pixel pitch with a brightness of 800 NITS. It’s powered by a 3-in-1 RGB SMD2121 LED configuration with the ability to flex up to a 45° concave or convex shape. Its design includes four individual modules and rear serviceability. Conveniently, up to 8 EVS3 FLEX45 panels can snugly fit within the VSFC8 flight case. Additionally, the FLEX45RB rigging bar enables the hanging of up to 20 EVS3 Flex45 panels vertically. ADJ Lighting was proud to be part the International Cervantino Festival in Guanajuato, Mexico this last October. At the city’s entrance, the lush green spaces of Los Pastitos, one of Cervantino’s most stunning free outdoor stages, hosted performances by DJ Ma Haiping, DJ Liu Yang, VJ Hanabitheo, Nortec: Bostich + Fussible, The Reminders, and many more. For this stage, the lighting setup included 24 ADJ Vizi Beam RXONE mobile heads with Osram® Sirius HRI 1R discharge lamps, 12 ADJ Focus Profile fixtures with 400W LED sources, 18 ADJ Focus Flex L19 fixtures featuring nineteen 40W RGB+Lime LEDs, 8 ADJ Vizi Beam CMY units with 310W Osram Sirius HRI discharge lamps, 8 ADJ Encore Burst 200 fixtures equipped with powerful 110W Warm White COB LEDs (2700K), and 8 ADJ Jolt Panel FXIP LED multi-purpose strobe/blinders with IP65 protection. Eight ADJ Entour Snow machines were used to fill downtown Paramount, CA with a flurry of synthetic snowflakes for the city’s annual Christmas tree lighting celebration. The event, which also featured a five-hour program of entertainment and live musical performances, was also illuminated by a variety of ADJ lighting fixtures. Luminaires, including Focus Spot 7Z automated fixtures, were used by production company Ambient Pro to light the performers on stage as well as to create atmospheric color washes and aerial beam effects.
