𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗘𝗣𝗖 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗧𝗔’𝗭𝗜𝗭 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 At ADIPEC 2024, Rotary Engineering- Abu Dhabi was announced the recipient of an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract for the TA’ZIZ Chemicals Storage Terminal. This terminal will serve as a hub for exporting bulk chemicals produced in the TA’ZIZ Industrial Chemicals Zone. Rotary Engineering- Abu Dhabi will execute the construction of this essential infrastructure, which includes receipt and storage facilities for bulk chemicals and gases, as well as jetty infrastructure to enable the export of finished products. The terminal project will be overseen by an integrated project management team, including professionals from Advario. Bas Verkooijen, CEO of Advario, stated: “Having worked with Rotary in the past, we have confidence that their experience and capabilities will support the successful delivery of this landmark project. We look forward to a productive collaboration.” This milestone aligns with Advario’s mission of being “Partners for Progress,” driving growth and innovation in the industry. The terminal aims to facilitate essential liquid storage and infrastructure for TA’ZIZ, the chemicals and transition fuels ecosystem under development in Al Ruwais Industrial City, Al Dhafra Region of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The project underscores Advario’s commitment to delivering world-class, sustainable storage solutions that create value for our partners and boost regional industrial growth. From November 4-7, 2024, ADIPEC will host the world’s largest gathering of energy professionals in Abu Dhabi, with over 184,000 attendees, including 54 national, international, and independent oil companies (NOCs, IOCs, IECs), 2,200 exhibitors, and 1,600 conference speakers. This prominent event provides a global platform for collaboration and innovation in the energy sector.

𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗲 During Singapore International Energy Week (SIEW) 2024, Advario Singapore Chemical Terminal hosted a special visit for VFlowTech’s delegation. Attendees explored the Vanadium Redox Flow Battery (VRFB) site, a pioneering energy storage solution and the first of its kind on Jurong Island. The visit included a presentation on VRFB technology, showcasing its scalability, long life cycle, and potential to support Singapore’s net-zero goals. A site tour of the 400kw/1.6Mwh battery followed, giving visitors insight into this innovative energy storage solution, born out of the Jurong Island Renewable Energy RFP. Advario Singapore VP, Frederic Moreux, with Terminal Manager Leong Yuen Wah and Finance Director Bernard Lim, closed the day with reflections on the collaborative path to clean energy and the role of VRFBs in shaping a sustainable future. 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼, 𝗩𝗙𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗝𝗧𝗖 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗠𝗢𝗨 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝘂𝗽 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗝𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 We are pleased to announce that Advario, VFlowTech, and JTC Corporation have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to accelerate the deployment of #cleanenergystorage on Jurong Island. This collaboration will explore scaling of the #VanadiumRedoxFlowBattery (VRFB) capacity by up to 25 times of initial pilot capacity, targeting 40MWh, enough to power over 3,000 HDB residential flats daily.   By potentially utilizing Advario’s tank infrastructure at our Singapore Chemical Terminal on Jurong Island, this project can play a key role in stabilizing Singapore’s power grid. The increased capacity can also help store excess #renewableenergy, such as solar, and discharge it during peak demand periods, ensuring a more reliable and efficient energy supply.   This initiative, a strong public-private partnership, is part of the broader Jurong Island transformation, following the #JurongIsland Renewable Energy Request-for-Proposal (JI RFP) by the Energy Market Authority (EMA) and JTC, supported by Enterprise Singapore. With a focus on long-term, scalable solutions, the project also explores the potential use of recycled industrial waste to produce vanadium electrolytes, contributing to a more circular economy.   We are proud to collaborate with VFlowTech and JTC to drive this important development in Singapore’s energy landscape, further supporting the country’s push towards a low-carbon economy.
