Earlier this month, we hosted our annual Supplier Day in Singapore, bringing together over 75 top suppliers and 160 attendees. The event allowed us to share our impressive growth story—nearly doubling our growth over the past nine years—explore the cutting-edge technology driving our success, and highlight our strong progress on ESG initiatives, with the people who help make it possible, our suppliers! Attendees had the unique opportunity to connect directly with key ASM executives, including: CFO, Paul Verhagen;  Senior Vice President Global Operations, Kent Rossman; Vice President of Common Engineering, Samer Banna ; Corporate Vice President Thermal ALD and VF Paul Ma ; Corporate Vice President Plasma and Epi Steven Reiter; and Vice President of Sourcing Steven Corvi, who alongside all the speakers, covered everything from our dominance in the high-growth ALD market, our extensive growth in the Epi, and how together we can deliver scalable manufacturing solutions, solve the toughest technical challenges, and develop new technologies that will enable the AI revolution and change the world.   A highlight of the day was recognizing our outstanding suppliers for their exceptional performance and support. We’re happy to partner with the National Science and Technology Council and National Tsing Hua University Interdisciplinary Science Education Center in Taiwan for the 9th annual “2024 Taiwan Island-round Science Education Train”. Over 40 high school students have been empowered by our ASMers to introduce semiconductor technologies to over 1000 primary school children through fun experiments whilst onboard this special train. We had a lot of fun at Eindhoven University of Technology’s Eindhoven Semicon Summer School (ESSS) last month! This academy offers the top sixty students from around the world a comprehensive dive into the semiconductor world. Alongside other leaders, we were there to inspire our next generation of innovators. Our CFO, Paul Verhagen, introduced the students to the industry, ASM, and our ground-breaking technology.   “The semiconductor industry in the Netherlands will need talent well above the current forecasted availability. We are proud to announce our continuing partnership with the Arizona Sustainability Alliance (AZSA) to support their Urban Forestry Tree Planting & Education Initiatives and annual sustainability events. Over the next three years, we will donate $240,000 to AZSA. Together, we’ll plant around 250+ trees and help AZSA empower communities through education and action.
