Axxicon has produced high-tech injection moulds systems for decades now. These mould systems are being developed, engineered, manufactured and validated for customers all over the world and that is why Axxicon is preferred supplier in many industries such as: •AIM moulds for polymer property testing •Medical & diagnostic industry •Life sciences industry •Microfluidics •Lab-on-a-disc / chip •OLED moulding Our factory is fully equipped to reach the ever-increasing high technical qualifications, which are expected of these parts and we will offer our customers a full service concept. Axxicon initially started in the moulding of micro and nano structures by manufacturing the very first moulds for Philips by producing optical storage media in the early 1980's. Axxicon used this knowledge in the area of injection moulding of ultra-flat, high precision parts. Our speciality is not only the replication of microstructures, but also our precise measurements, made possible by our in-house laboratory in which we use equipment like a Zeiss Prismo Super ACC, Atomic Force and Optical Microscopes.

Today’s reinforced polymers can be pretty rough on injection moulding tools! Injection moulding abrasive polymers requires a coating on the mould inserts. Axxicon uses a Titanium Nitride coating on the inserts of the AIM™ Quick Change Mould System. The very high hardess and low coëfficiënt of friction makes it durable to mould f.a. glass filled polymers 💪 . The gold colour gives it a nice look as well 🤩 #tensile test #ISO A

Nauwkeurige metaalbewerking: draadvonken, zinkvonken, leppen, honen, slijpen en meer...
Vandaag haal ik een nieuw speeltje op: een héél bijzonder #AFM-meettoestel. 🥰 Wat het extra speciaal maakt: ik 𝐤𝐫𝐢𝐣𝐠 hem. Helemaal voor niks - ongelofelijk! De gulle gever is Axxicon: een grootheid in de fijnmechanische wereld. Ooit maakten ze indrukwekkende cd- & dvd-matrijzen. Nu akelig nauwkeurige onderdelen. ⛰️⛰️⛰️ Het apparaat is een atoomkrachtmicroscoop. (In het Engels: atomic force microscope - AFM). Nog nooit 1 in echt gezien! Ik ken niet 1 metaalbedrijf dat hierover beschikt. Ik ken alleen nationale meetlaboratoria die over een AFM beschikken. En menig nanolab. 🐟🐠 Met AFM kun je echt belachelijk nauwkeurig meten. Op de #nanometer. Misschien nog iets eronder. Dat hoop ik binnenkort uit te vissen. En je kunt hele mooie plaatjes maken van de oppervlaktes die je meet. 🥰 Foto 2 is een SiC spiegeltje met een ruwheid van Ra 0.2 nm. Lijkt nogal grof op de foto, hè?! Haha! 🚚 Ik hoop dat ik het apparaat heelhuids thuis krijg. Kan niet wachten om ermee te spelen. Of het relevant is voor m'n bedrijf?! Geen idee! Eerst maar eens zien hoe ik hem moet bedienen. ❓️ Ken jij een zinnige toepassing van AFM? Iets fijnmechanisch liefst? Als uitdaging en ter verificatie van onze interne meetkunde heb ik Nobby Assmann van Assmann Verspaningstechniek gevraagd om de vlakheid en ruwheid van een onderdeel uit gehard 1.2767 te meten op vlakheid en ruwheid. De uitkomst; Vlakheid 0.28µm en Ruwheid 1.97nm Ra 👌 Met name de combinatie hiervan is flabbergasting 💪 Van Nobby kreeg onze "Meesterlepper" Menno een mooie oorkonde uitgereikt. Hoe tof is dat! 👍 Axxicon is specialist in het leppen en (hoogglans) polijsten van matrijs- en machineonderdelen in metaal en keramiek. Een competentie die zijn oorsprong heeft in het maken van CD en DVD matrijzen. Heb jij een behoefte voor lep of polijstwerk horen we dat graag Thnx, Nobby Assmann! 🙏 #Leppen #polijsten
