The PPWR is official! ✅ Over the past year, we’ve shared many updates about the upcoming Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR). Now the moment has arrived. Today, the European Council approved the regulation—the final step before it becomes law across the EU. The PPWR aims to reduce packaging waste and drive the shift towards reusable solutions, which marks a major milestone for a circular economy. Today, we attended the Reusable Packaging Fair, where we had some great conversations about the challenges and successes of transitioning to a circular economy. Engaging with visitors and connecting with other experts in reusable packaging made for an inspiring day. In addition to being present with our stand, we also hosted a breakout session that highlighted one of our collaborations. This morning, Toon de Jong from TrackOnline ♻️ developed by Bexter and Cornelis Vlastuin from Mr. Flexx® presented the session: "The digital backbone of reusable packaging: Tracking & Tracing in B2B." The HEMA case demonstrates how reusable retail displays can be efficiently managed with our software platform. By providing real-time insights into the location and status of these displays, HEMA has reduced losses, optimized asset usage, and contributed to its sustainability goals. This collaboration underscores how technology can drive circular solutions in retail. We want to thank everyone who attended the session.
