Exciting #Biodiversity #Genomics #Europe news from Slovenia & Poland! 🌐 Recently, two successful #CitizenScience events took place: 👉 The Univerza na Primorskem organised two events at the Campus Livade, Izola (Slovenia). The events, titled “Wildlife Detective: Revealing the Invisible Wildlife Around You” and “Fantastic animals and where to film them” were open to primary and secondary school students and teachers. Exciting #Biodiversity #Genomics #Europe news from Greece! 🌐 Recently, two inspiring #CitizenScience events took place: 👉  The event ‘BGE and the eDNA use for the biomonitoring of the non-indigenous species’ was held as part of the Researcher's Night in Thessaloniki. About 5,000 people of different ages visited the Opera House of the city to attend this pan European research feast. More than 200 people stopped by the BGE booth, where they learned about the program and the use of #eDNA technology for #biomonitoring non-native species: https://lnkd.in/gwgCsg9M 👉 At the port of Kolona, 18 students from the 2nd Experimental School of Rhodes attended an introductory lecture on biodiversity loss, the BGE programme, #IAS and eDNA. BGE’s first scientific publication: Water mites!
