🌿 From waste to energy: Transforming wastewater into green power! 🔋 💧☕Managing wastewater while reducing carbon footprint is a significant challenge faced by municipalities worldwide. 🏠 We helped the Bonneuil-en-France wastewater treatment plant to treate wastewater from 35 municipalities but also to produce biogas for 1,750 homes. 🌱 This project showcases how we're turning environmental challenges into #SustainableSolutions, combining water treatment with renewable energy production. Our MemGas and Energido processes ensure maximum resource efficiency, setting new standards in the water industry. We're excited to share how our Biothane team is going the extra mile in supporting one of our sister Business Units - not just in work-related matters, but also in their sportive pursuits! Last Sunday our colleagues, together with colleagues from Veolia Water Technologies sp. z o.o. ran the #PolandBusinessRun 2024. After a week of engaging with clients, partners, and colleagues from Veolia and Veolia Water Technologies it was gratifying to conclude by supporting our Polish colleagues in contributing to the significant objectives that this run supports.

In such a plant, biomass digesters convert these materials into biogas, which serves as an efficient fuel for energy production.
