So much has happened in the last few weeks that I’m excited to share a brief update here. I’m reflecting on what may be the most fruitful period since the start of Blockrise. Currently writing this on the train back to London, spending three days here for a great reason!
🇬🇧 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗽 𝘅 𝗨𝗞 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
The momentum started right after my podcast with Lars Crama. Shortly after, Blockrise became part of the Techleap community, joined their Autumn gathering, and was invited to the Techleap expedition to London. Three impressive days with amazing founders, investors, and institutions from both NL and the UK. The sessions provided valuable market insights and great scaling tips. Networking with other founders and hearing their experiences was just as enriching. As a result of those days, I’m now back in London, exploring strategic partnerships and investment opportunities to further scale Blockrise and accelerate our roadmap!
🚀 𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝟭𝟮 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲
It’s been surreal how much has happened in the past year, kicking off with our Grand Opening in November 2023. Since then, Blockrise has grown 20x in AUM, thanks to the incredible support from the team and our clients. Our vision is ambitious — building the bridge between Bitcoin and traditional finance with our fully verifiable custody solution. We are breaking ground in this sector, and it’s so rewarding to see the impact we’re making. With key regulatory milestones approaching, we are gearing up to offer the financial products the market has been waiting for!
💬 𝗕𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗺𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗮𝗺 & 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲
In recent weeks, I also had the privilege of attending Bitcoin Amsterdam, The Future of Bitcoin (Start2Bitcoin), and the European Blockchain Convention—three very well-organised events that are crucial for the community. These events made me reflect on how many inspiring people I’ve met this year, and I’m grateful for everyone who’s supported Blockrise along the way. Being able to discuss our vision for Bitcoin and what we’re building has been an invaluable experience.
