The Kickstarter Grant has been open for applications for a few weeks, and we’re excited to share that more information about the Innovation Grant is now also available: https://lnkd.in/eMrq4azr! 🎉 Student teams can start preparing their project plans to apply for funding of up to €40,000. This past Friday, BOOST had the honor of welcoming 22 political representatives to experience the thriving student team ecosystem in #NoordBrabant! 🚀✨   The goal of the day was to showcase the incredible work of student teams and highlight the unique learning environment they create. These teams are a perfect example of the "Waaier" approach, where students from diverse backgrounds come together to learn from one another.   The day kicked off with opening speeches by Robert-Jan Smits and Joep Houterman at TU/e innovation Space, emphasizing the role of student teams and the importance of financial supporting from the government. The program continued with presentations from TU/ecomotive, Solar Team Eindhoven, and University Racing Eindhoven, showcasing their groundbreaking projects. Our guests also had the chance to see the amazing cars these teams are developing. 🏎️🌍   Next, we took a short walk to Fontys, where presentations by both Fontys Hogeschool and Summa were given. After this, four Fontys student teams showcased their innovative projects. To wrap up this unforgettable day, we presented BOOST, our mission, and future plans. All aimed at elevating the student ecosystem to even greater heights. 🌟   This visit was a fantastic example of collaboration between education, politics, and innovation. 🚀 BOOST goes live! 🚀 We are proud to announce the launch of BOOST, the development platform that will boost student innovation in North Brabant! Thanks to Provincie Noord-Brabant, which has earmarked a whopping 2.8 million euros, MBO, HBO and WO students from across the province can apply for funding for their innovative student teams. This makes it at once the largest funding platform in the Netherlands for student teams! 🙌 👩💻 What does BOOST offer? - Innovation Grant: Up to €40,000 for ambitious innovations! - Kickstarter Grant: Up to €1,500 to start a student team! - Knowledge Platform: An online platform full of information to set up your student team and make it successful! 💡 BOOST connects 10 educational institutions in North Brabant and further expansion is planned.
