Yesterday, I was present at the "Holland-Bio Komt Naar Je Toer - Maastricht Edition" at the Brightlands campus Maastricht. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to hollandbio, particularly Wieteke Wouters and Dina Diek, for organizing such a fantastic event. A special shout-out to Mark Post for sharing his intriguing stories! Luc Smeets always good talking again, and Yves Slenter thanks for giving me some oppertunities to think about. We are announcing a leadership transition at Brightlabs BV. After almost 10 years of dedicated service as general manager Bart Kuijpers will take on the role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO), focusing on driving innovation and technical excellence within Brightlabs. Marcel Langoor, PhD will succeed Bart as our new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective from today the 6th of January. 𝗗𝗖𝗠 & 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗹𝗮𝗯𝘀 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝘆 𝗳𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀 🔎 Two of our participants, DCM and Brightlabs BV, have teamed up for a Cultivation for Compounds research project. Jointly, they study fertilization strategies in medicinal cannabis. By testing different strategies, including fully organic, fully mineral, and mixed schemes, the companies aim to determine which approach most stimulates the production of valuable compounds. The results of the study could have major implications for the cannabis industry.
