Yesterday, we gathered within our Erasmus Centre for Data Analytics community at Erasmus University Rotterdam campus to share the latest inspirations and ideas on topics related to data, immersive tech, and AI.
The event was preceded by a meeting of our ECDA Academic Directors, where we discussed the latest milestones, ongoing projects, and plans for the future.
💡 During the event, we welcomed the Co-Founder & CEO at Bubl Cloud, Niek Temme, who shared interesting insights on how to use sensitive personal data in a safe, user-friendly way, and how to maintain privacy using AI. Often, for good reason, it is complex or even infeasible to leverage personal information. This stops important innovation that is needed right now, such as in healthcare and energy transition. Bubl Cloud has created a unique cloud solution for privacy and security working together, which does not distribute data but stores it in a personal encrypted data vault and then sends the processing to the data. It’s called 'the reverse data model.’
After the presentation, there was time to connect and enjoy some bites and drinks.
