Look at the beautiful colors! Sometimes we are so busy with innovations and simmering on details that I forget to share how proud I am of the steps we are taking. A great example of this are the results of the collaboration with Cafe Inc Evaluna Márquez and Bonne Suits. Together we have developed three beautiful colors from coffee grounds. We spent a year researching how to get these three colors washfast and lightfast and the good news is that we succeeded! Wash and light fastness are very important to us because we want the textiles we dyed to remain beautiful for a long time to come. Even better news is that we can now also offer these colors on our color chart, so that our customers can now also use these colors for, for example, redyeing collections that have been written off as we did for Joline Jolink. A nice detail in the photo is that the yarn does not color completely because our dye recipes only work on natural fibers. Interested or do you want to know more? you know where to find me ;-)

Each of them will contribute their expertise to different areas of our operations, helping drive our mission of creating a world without coffee waste. By transforming coffee by-products into 100% circular ingredients, we’re working towards a greener future. 🌍♻️ So, let’s meet the newest members of our team: 🔹 Geralynn Gravador – A Process & Food Technology student passionate about sustainability, Geralynn fell in love with coffee while working as a barista and became aware of the industry's waste. At Caffe Inc., she’ll be upscaling the Refining, Bleaching, and Deodorization (RBD) process for our coffee oil, transitioning from lab-scale to pilot-scale production. 🔹 Claire Levins – A third-year Communication Science student with a passion for sustainability and innovative marketing. As a coffee lover, she’s eager to contribute her skills to promote Caffe Inc.'s mission. Claire will be leading marketing efforts to enhance brand awareness and engagement across social media platforms. 🔹 Issam El Ablak – A final-year law student with experience as a legal consultant, Issam combines his academic knowledge with practical expertise. At Caffe Inc., he will assist the team in obtaining certifications for our raw materials, ensuring compliance and sustainability.
