The next step in green chemistry! We have been proud partners of Celtic Renewables, a pioneer in transforming waste and by-products into sustainable value, since 2021. They are able to effectively turn 100% bio-based feedstocks, like residues from whisky distillation, into high-value bio-solvents—leading the way in green chemistry and circular solutions. Celtic Renewables’ innovative process transforms by-products and waste from various industries such as food, beverage, and agriculture into bio butanol and bio acetone. These green chemicals currently contribute to more than 60% carbon footprint reduction compared to petrochemical alternatives, and for every MT of or bio-butanol and bio-acetone produced, almost 3MT of carbon is saved.
