Carbon Conference NL 2024: innovators highlight enormous opportunities for a Green Carbon Economy 🌍 To lead in the transition toward a net-negative carbon economy, the Netherlands needs a proactive and actionable carbon roadmap. This message resonated last Friday during the overbooked Carbon Conference NL organized by the joint efforts of SeaO2, Brineworks, Paebbl, Carbyon, Skytree, Sinkit, CarbonFix, Darel, ECOLOG, and Energie Beheer Nederland. During the open dialogue, policymakers and industry leaders aligned on sustainable carbon management and utilization. It was a day filled with collaboration! 🤝 Our collective call to action was clear: With stronger policies and clear objectives, the Netherlands can leverage carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) technologies to build a sustainable future Dutch economy that benefits society and the planet. Direct Air Capture, Direct Ocean Capture and Carbon Dioxide Removal technologies are crucial to meet our climate targets and build a new Green carbon economy. We were happy to bring so many relevant players of the new carbon economy under one roof and discuss the challenges and opportunities during talks, workshops and interactive panel discussions. We want to extend our sincere gratitude to Michel Heijdra from the Ministerie van Klimaat en Groene Groei, Olga Liash from CarbonFix, Dorine Bosman representing the Port of Amsterdam, Wouter K., part of McKinsey & Company, and Wouter Peters from Wetenschappelijke Klimaatraad (WKR) for their invaluable contributions during the panel. The first steps have been taken as the Dutch Ministry of Climate and Green Growth presented its first draft of the National Carbon Roadmap. Thousands of visitors came to discover our designs for the future of carbon capture at the Dutch Design Week! We received expressions of amazement, fascination, curiosity, and genuine enthusiasm for both our technology and the designs. Last weekend, a group of our dedicated Carbyoneers took part in the Eindhoven Marathon!🏃♀️💨 In the weeks leading up to the race we trained together. It wasn't easy, as it required a deep breath and quite some perseverance to get through the highs and lows. However, throughout this journey, we got each other's backs! 🩷 Hmm.. it sounds like a marathon is the perfect analogy for what it's like working at an adventurous Start-up😉. #teamearth

What do you do when you close Series A? Throw a little party🥂 and double our luck at the special Carbyon Casino💸 ! As we celebrate successes together at Carbyon, we've put on our most beautiful dresses and suits (as well as our poker faces 😐) to immerse ourselves in a night out that marked the exciting close of our Series A round 🥂. And just for the record—no real money was at stake 😉. It was all fun, games, and a toast to the future! #teamearth
