We are expanding our team, we are looking for a 'Fractional Head of Finance & Accounting' We are a growing hospitality and retail business in the heart of Amsterdam's historic canal district. We operate from two canal houses that house our bed and breakfast, fashion boutique and ecommerce activities as well as our daytime cafe and events spaces. Your role You will combine high-level financial leadership with hands-on accounting management 3 days a week. You will be working directly with co-founders, Carmen and Joris, in running the financial operations of the business units of CARMEN Amsterdam. You will create the financial foundations of our multifaceted operation and help shape the financial growth and strategy as we expand in specific business units.  You will join us at our office to provide on the ground financial support and guidance for the team. You will run the two founders through month end reporting to assess how the business is performing and ‘close the books’ every month with help from our accountancy.  You will also sit down with the different stakeholders leading the business units of Carmen Amsterdam (Guesthouse, Café, Store, Online Store and Events) to give them an overview of the performance and provide specific advice on how to improve. Job description -  Whether you’re making the morning coffees or serving up delicious warm lunches, you are responsible for providing guests with the best experience at CARMEN. The work predominantly takes place in the café, but you might also be requested to assist in the guesthouse as well as during special events.
