40 jaar dienstverband voor Han Meulendijk! Wat fantastische mijlpaal! In december 1984 zette Han voor het eerst voet in de fabriek van het toenmalige pand aan de Hoeksestraat in Deurne. Van handtufter en creatieve kracht in de kleurenstudio is Han uitgegroeid tot een 'door de wol gewassen' ambassadeur van CSrugs die voor zijn klanten door het vuur gaat. In December 1984, Han first set foot in the factory of the former building on Hoeksestraat in Deurne. From a hand tufting expert and creative force in the color studio, Han has grown into a seasoned ambassador of CSrugs, going above and beyond for his customers. A new, inviting era for DLA Piper The Strawinsky House in Amsterdam has undergone a remarkable transformation, evolving from a 1970s office building into a sophisticated and multifunctional space. Designed by Casper Schwarz Architects from Utrecht, the new office embraces communication, collaboration, and well-being. The design concept breaks away from traditional law office layouts, focusing on open, inviting spaces rather than closed offices. The goal was to create an environment that feels more like home. Every element of the space has been crafted to offer comfort, warmth, and a sense of hospitality. A key feature in achieving this atmosphere is the custom-made Merino rug collection by CSrugs. With its 16mm thick, 100% wool material, and extra dense tufting, the rug adds a rich, tactile layer to the design. The warm, elegant colors and rounded corners beautifully complement the curved furniture and the internal hub space. This soft, welcoming addition enhances the overall experience, bringing together the office's stylish and comfortable design elements. The FUTURE > FACTORY> FURNITURE> collective is back at Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven. The collective, consisting of Dutch producers Arco - We are Arco, we make tables -, CSrugs Gelderland, Label Vandenberg, Lande Family, Leolux Furniture Group, Montis BV and supporting partners Dutch Design Week and industry association Koninklijke CBM presents ‘KOM VAN DIE BANK AF’ (literally: ‘get off that sofa’, a Dutch saying meaning ‘get a move on’). The project embodies A SERIES OF DOCUMENTARY PORTRAITS, highlighting groundbreaking initiatives within the Dutch furniture sector, all focusing on making the transition to a sustainable production chain.   The first portrait, ‘STOF TOT NADENKEN UIT Enschede Textielstad (‘Food for thought from Enschede Textielstad’), revolves around Annemieke Koster. Her ambition: to make Enschede a world player in circular industrial textiles. In 11 years of passionate entrepreneurship, Annemieke's initiative, Enschede Textielstad, has grown into the most sustainable scalable textile producer in the Netherlands, making high-quality fabrics from recycled materials (pre-used cotton, denim, PET, Tencel, hemp and flax).    At our stand in the Klokgebouw, you can experience the unique textiles Enschede Textielstad makes, furnished on several pieces of furniture made by members of the collective. CSrugs has made a matching rug from the recycled fabric residue.
