Meet the Leadership: David Francis Position: Director of Global Operations Location: Paris, France Background: With over 20 years of experience, David Francis holds a Masters of Science in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology (Atlanta, USA) and the School of Mines (Nancy, France). He has joined CCR in June 2022, after successfully leading positions of increasing responsibilities in program management & manufacturing at Collins Aerospace (Raytheon Technologies group). Role at CCR: David oversees the daily performance, as well as the long-term strategy of CCR’s global operations, which includes worldwide manufacturing footprint, supply chain, quality and EH&S. She leads the growth and performance of the Asia business, spending most of her time in China, India, SEA countries. Sophie holds a JD degree from Leiden University, The Netherlands and an EMBA degree from Koç University, Istanbul, Turkey. Additionally she completed a post doctorate degree in Corporate Law at Leiden University. After starting her career in corporate, banking and commercial law in The Netherlands, she joined UTC / Carrier in 2014 and since then has held several international positions of increasing responsibility. Role at CCR: As General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer, Sophie oversees global legal and compliance matters. She leads a diverse, dynamic, and international team of legal professionals dedicated to supporting CCR's business operations worldwide.
