With high green literacy and growing interest from manufacturers, Japan presents a unique opportunity for Circularise. Our traceability platform has already caught the attention of Japanese companies, with investors including Asahi Kasei, SEKISUI CHEMICAL, and most recently, Teijin Limited. By 2050 the weight of plastic in the ocean could outweigh that of all fish combined❗ The equivalent amount of a garbage truck load of plastic is dumped in the sea every single minute, adding to over 150 million tons of plastic already floating there. Plastic is commonly used in various industries because of its low cost, high performance and long durability. It is particularly well suited for packaging, as many forms of plastic are able to withstand extreme environmental conditions.
