  • 𝗚𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆! 🔥 You probably have noticed: we are working on the online visibility of CIREX! As a result, we have gained many new followers on LinkedIn. We would like to introduce them with our business process. At CIREX, we develop and manufacture complex steel and aluminum components for the international industry. These components are poured using the investment casting method, or as we mostly say: lost wax casting or precision casting. CIREX long-standing commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainability sets us apart in the investment casting industry. We continue to explore ways to enhance our manufacturing processes, developing new techniques to increase efficiency and reduce environmental impact. Investment casting, although an ancient process, continues to be a vital part of modern manufacturing due to its precision and versatility. With our dedication to quality and innovation, that helps bring the art of investment casting into the 21st century, creating a bright future for this time-honored process. #investmentcasting #lostwaxcasting #precisioncasting

  • 🎉 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟮𝟱 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻! 🎉 This year marks a special milestone at CIREX Europe: 25 years ago, the first robot entered our wax department. A significant step in our automation program and brings us to a production capacity of millions of parts per year.   Over the years, we have continued to invest in our automation and robotics, optimizing our processes, and ensuring consistent quality for our customers. The introduction of robotics and automation has not only improved efficiency but also strengthened our position in the industry.   We started with only one robot, and it has grown into a future-proof production environment where humans and machines work together in a highly efficient way. This milestone reflects our commitment to progress, teamwork, and delivering excellence.   #Automation #Robotics #Investmentcasting

  • 𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗗 | 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟭𝟬 𝗼𝗳 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘅 𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 🔥 We are almost at the end of our investment casting process: machining, heat- and surface treatment and assembly. We are able to deliver ready-to-install solutions!   CIREX has the capabilities for internal machining, such as drilling holes, tapping threads and turning & milling. Surface treatments involve the coating process of a steel surface, to enhance the looks of the surface or protect it against external influences such as corrosion and natural wear. Some circumstances require aloys to do heat treatment to achieve a certain hardness, tensile strength or elongation.   Next week, we will explain the 11th and last step to you!   #investmentcasting #lostwaxcasting #precisioncasting

  • 𝟯𝗗 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗜𝗥𝗘𝗫! 🔥 In 2017, we did some tests with PLA 3D printed models. This was a success for our production process. Since then, we can't imagine CIREX without the FDM 3D-printers. We have a nice collection these days. In Almelo, we have no fewer than 15 FDM 3D-printers. At our location in Soest, Germany, we also have a couple of 3D printers.   We initially purchased the printers to produce prototype castings easily and relatively cheaply. Soon the 3D printers were used for all kinds of applications. Such as tools for manufacturing and testing broad concepts for assembly. With these prototypes, customers can test the castings functionality and its strength very well. Small developments in geometry can be implemented quickly. This allows CIREX to test the casting process product-specifically and fine tune it faster where necessary.   The geometry, size and quantity of the final component are the three biggest factors that determine the most suitable prototyping process. The prototyping phase is also an excellent opportunity to test different material options for a part so that it can achieve better long-term results.   Do you want to know more about prototyping? • 𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗗 | 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟵 𝗼𝗳 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘅 𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 🔥 After the ceramic shell is removed, we get a clear view of the final product. The remaining ceramic will be carefully removed by steel-, sand or water blasting. After that, the parts will be checked visually by our quality department. This is our standard quality procedure to ensure constant quality for our customers. Due to this process, you can be assured that CIREX only delivers high quality castings!   After blasting, grinding and visual inspection there are two more steps left in our lost wax casting process.
