LATER EDIT: The webinar has been rescheduled to: 🗓 Date: Thursday, March 20, 2025 🕔 Time: 4.00 pm CET | 10.00 am EST | 7.00 am PST | 8.30 pm IST We hope to see you then! --- 📢 Upcoming webinar! Discover how understanding the characterization, solubility and hygroscopicity of a pharmaceutical compound can transform pharmaceutical development. Our guest speaker Martha Grover from Georgia Institute of Technology will share insights into her recent explorations of BMS-817399, a compound used as an active pharmaceutical ingredient (API), finding that its monohydrate form (Form 1) shifts with humidity and temperature. By targeting a stable form, Martha and her research colleagues discovered a new anhydrous variant (Form 2) through controlled crystallization. This form resists environmental changes more effectively, promising improved API performance. 🗓 Date: Tuesday, December 3, 2024 🕔 Time: 4.00 pm CET | 10.00 am EST | 7.00 am PST | 8.30 pm IST Participation is free. 🚀 Route scouting in heterogeneous reactions with #ReactALL™ 🚀 Optimizing complex chemical reactions is essential for industries like #pharmaceuticals and #fine #chemicals, where precision and efficiency drive innovation. Our latest application note highlights the advanced capabilities of the ReactALL system in simplifying route scouting for solid-liquid reactions and streamlining process development. The ReactALL system is an advanced platform for chemical reaction screening, featuring #SmartCap technology with automated sampling, quenching, and dilution for streamlined HPLC vial transfer and high-quality data. 🔬 Key Findings: ➡️ The N-methylation of 1-phenylpiperazine with potassium carbonate in 2-methyltetrahydrofuran was tested in three setups: ReactALL, an overhead stirrer, and a vial with magnetic stirring at 500 rpm and 25°C. ➡️ ReactALL provided superior mixing and consistent conversion, matching the performance of larger commercial reactors, while the vial with magnetic stirrer gave inaccurate results. ➡️ ReactALL also enabled precise #chemoselectivity and real-time data through automated sampling. Thanks to Hawkins et al. for the insightful work published in Organic Process Research & Development! 📄 Read more in the application note: https://lnkd.in/dxYeSFsg #Technobis #ReactionScreening #ProcessChemistry #Automation #AutomatedSampling #HomogeneousReaction #HeterogeneousReaction #Reproducibility

🚀 Rapid determination of activation parameters with #ReactALL™ 🚀 Understanding activation parameters is crucial for optimizing reaction efficiency in chemical process development. Our latest application note highlights the ReactALL system's capabilities in investigating kinetic parameters, using the nucleophilic aromatic substitution (SNAr) reaction between 2,4-difluorobenzonitrile and 1-phenylpiperazine. The ReactALL platform, with #SmartCap technology with automated sampling, quenching, and dilution, enables streamlined HPLC vial transfer and high-quality data. Its precise control and automation allow efficient data collection across varying temperatures and concentrations, providing valuable kinetic insights. 🔬 Key Findings: ➡️ The SNAr reaction was studied by varying temperatures (32-80°C) and concentrations at a constant 56°C. The system’s five independent reactors facilitated parallel testing, allowing for temperature-dependent kinetics. ➡️ The reaction was first-order in both electrophile and nucleophile, but zeroth-order in the base. Selectivity favored the Para-1 product over Ortho-1 with a 7:1 ratio. ➡️ Eyring analysis revealed activation enthalpies of 9.7 kcal/mol for Para-1 and 10.2 kcal/mol for Ortho-1. This study emphasizes the efficiency of ReactALL in providing reliable, high-quality kinetic data, proving its utility for optimizing industrial processes. Thanks to Hawkins et al. for the insightful work published in Organic Process Research & Development! 📄 Read more in our application note: https://lnkd.in/dScegbYC #Technobis #ProcessOptimization #ReactionKinetics #SNAr #Nucleophilic #AutomatedSampling #ActivationParameters #ReactionEngineering

🚀 #ReactALL: Enhancing solvent retention with #SmartCap technology 🔬 A recent study on the ReactALL system, featuring SmartCap technology, has demonstrated its ability to significantly reduce solvent evaporation, thus solving a major issue in maintaining consistency during experiments. The ReactALL system is an advanced platform for chemical reaction screening, featuring #SmartCap technology to reduce solvent evaporation, with automated sampling, quenching, and dilution for streamlined HPLC vial transfer and high-quality data. 🔬 Key Findings: ➡️ Assessment without sampling: THF was heated under reflux for 20 hours in sealed reactors with no solvent loss, demonstrating the system's efficiency in static conditions. ➡️ Assessment with repeated sampling: Multiple solvents, including MTBE, THF, ethyl acetate, and toluene, were heated to their boiling points with 16 samples taken. Minimal solvent loss (2.1% to 6.6%) was observed, except for MTBE, which had a 13% loss. The retention performance during active sampling highlights how SmartCap technology preserves solvent integrity and prevents evaporation, ensuring precise concentration control for improved reproducibility and accuracy in reaction profiling. 🚀 ReactALL: Ensuring reproducibility with automated sampling 🚀 Reproducibility is a cornerstone of successful chemical process scale-up, ensuring that representative aliquots are consistently achieved. The #ReactALL system is an advanced platform for chemical reaction screening, featuring #SmartCap technology with automated sampling, quenching, and dilution for streamlined HPLC vial transfer and high-quality data. We highlight a recently conducted study by a research team at Pfizer, comparing manual and automated sampling methods, and the results speak for themselves. 🔬 Key Findings: ➡️ Homogeneous System: A solution of diphenyl ether in acetonitrile was agitated in five reactors at 500 rpm and 25°C. ReactALL’s automated sampling showed consistent UPLC-MS data with a residual standard deviation of 0.8%-1.5%, closely matching manual sampling (1.4%), confirming its precision and reproducibility. ➡️ Heterogeneous System: A mixture of diphenyl ether and sodium tosylate in toluene was tested under similar conditions. Automated and manual samples yielded nearly identical results, proving the effectiveness of ReactALL in handling both soluble and insoluble components. Thanks to Hawkins et al. for the insightful work published in Organic Process Research & Development! 📄 Read more here: https://lnkd.in/d75V2KhJ #Technobis #ReactionScreening #ProcessChemistry #Automation #AutomatedSampling #HomogeneousReaction #HeterogeneousReaction #Reproducibility
