Excited to be featured in the Coalition of Action 4 Soil Health (CA4SH) brief on #Youth4Soil, highlighting Cycle to Farms as a case study for raising awareness about scaling soil health! Our case study, “Advocating for Soil Health on the Ground,” shares advice and lessons learned in driving soil health advocacy at a grassroots level. CA4SH is a global multistakeholder partnership dedicated to advancing soil health. It places a strong emphasis on youth as innovators and leaders through initiatives like #Youth4Soil, which offers mentorship, collaboration, and platforms for engagement to amplify youth-driven approaches to soil health advocacy. Far from cycling to farms, but meeting at a garage in #Marijempolė. A family holiday found me in Lithuania 🇱🇹, where car trouble hijacked an opportunity to meet with Aisha Hassan and Lukas Paltanavicius. I know them from the Jordan-Egypt stage of their bike-journey past regenerative farms from #Wageningen to Tanzania. This inspirational couple are now preparing to move to Boston where Aisha will start a PhD at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Lukas will apply his entrepreneurial talents to continuing their journey promoting the exchange of knowledge and inspiration on sustainable agriculture. This is a fantastic recognition of their dedication to sustainable farming practices. Their commitment to regenerate truly shines through, and we are so happy to see it rewarded.
